Crock Pot Bread Pudding
8 slices white bread, cubed
1/4 c melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup raisins
1/2 tsp nutmeg
SAUCE
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp butter
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp flour (rounded)
Place bread cubes in a well greased crock pot
In a bowl mix sugar, melted butter, well beaten eggs and milk
Beat until smooth
Stir in raisins and nutmeg
Pour over cubes and mix lightly
Cook on high for 1 hour
Turn to low for 3 to 4 hours or bake in oven at 350° for 30 minutes
Cook sauce and pour over pudding just before serving
