Hearty Crockpot Pork
1 3-1/2 lb boneless loin roast
1 large jar sauerkraut, drained & rinsed
red potatoes, peeled & cut into quarters
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup light brown sugar
salt & pepper to taste
Trim fat from pork and cut roast into 4 to 6 pieces
Place potatoes in the bottom of the crock pot and salt & pepper
Place kraut on top of potatoes and put two bay leaves down into the kraut
Sprinkle brown sugar over kraut
Place pork on top of kraut and salt & pepper the pork
Cook on low for 8-10 hours
Good with pumpernickel & beer
