Snickerdoodles
Santa's Fav Cookie
1 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2-2/3 cups flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
Coating
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400°
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar
Beat in eggs and vanilla
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt
Shape dough into balls, using rounded spoonful for each
Combine sugar and cinnamon for coating
Roll balls of dough in sugar mixture
Bake 8-10 minutes
