Frosty Colorful Cookiesfence

  • 1-3/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup buttered flavored Crisco
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups M&Ms

  • Heat oven to 375°
  • Place brown sugar, sugar, shortening, milk and vanilla in large bowl and beat at medium speed until well blended
  • Add egg, beat well
  • Combine flour, salt and baking soda
  • Add to shortening mixture
  • Beat at low speed just until well blended
  • Stir in M&M's
  • Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes
  • Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet, then remove to foil to cool completely
