This quick and easy recipe was found in Country Living's "Country Christmas" by Bo Niles. Coffee and coffee liqueur add dimension to a rich chocolate walnut fudge
1-1/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup Kahlua or other coffee liqueur
2 Tbsp instant coffee powder or granules
1 (12 oz) pkg semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp vanilla extract
Line an 8" square baking pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.
In a 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, milk, marshmallow creme, butter, coffee liqueur and instant coffee
Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stir constantly
Boil 5 minutes
Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips until melted
