Holiday Lime Mold
3 oz. box Lime Jello
1 cup boiling water
small can crushed pineapple
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup mini-marshmallows
1 cup Cool-Whip
3 or 4 Maraschino Cherries, halved
Dissolve jello in 1 cup boiling water
Drain pineapple, reserve juice
Add cold water to juice to make 3/4 cup
Add to jello
Fold in marshmallows
Refrigerate 1/2 hr.
Fold in nuts & pineapple
Refrigerate another 1/2 hour
Fold in Cool-whip
In pretty ring-type mold, place marachino cherry halves evenly around bottom
Carefully place about 1 tbs. jello mixture over each cherry.
Spoon remaining mix in mold
Refrigerate overnight
To unmold, dip mold in warm water to loosen. Run sharp knife around edge of mold
Place serving plate on top of mold & invert
