Well well, lets see... its only been what? 5 months since I last wrote. God im a lazy SOB... but im sure those of you who know me can vouch for that. But thats a different story for a different time and a different place. Im sure yer all looking forward to that one. Watch for the Autobiography!
So anyway, its almost time for Thanksgiving Turkey and Christmas Gift opening... oh wait, I mean giving Thanks and being in the holiday giving spirit. I usually love this time of year, and I still kinda do. Its amazing how everything changes to the Christmas spirit... all white and happy and family like. Even better its truly talent when you can transform Sometimes Sunny Southern California into a Winter Wonderland without any real snow. Truly, California is a magical place =o) However, the older I get, the less...um.. appealing it gets. Always can do the Family thing, but for the last 19 years ive done it and god knows I love my family but you need a change up sometime. What would be nice is to have an actual White Christmas. Snow, roaring fire place, cuddling, mistletoe and buggy riding. now that would be a definite change up. Some caroling tossed in for good effect. Who am I kidding right? Hehehe Reality check, poor broke starving college student working in a pharmacy during flu season. The most holiday cheer i'll hear is from a nice lil ol lady who will, after me handing over her medication, will say "thank you sonny, now that cranberry juice can come right out of me." Lovely aint it?
Now for those of you who don't know me... that was all ridiculous chatter, my favorite kind actually. Passes the time and what not. So on to the real update. Ive been living here in Orange, CA for about 5 months now. I love Orange county... close to LA and SD if I want to be apart of the city life but still far enuff to were I dont feel all confused and bogged down by the sheer number of people. I am still employed with Kaiser Permanente as a pharmacist assistant. Actually ive been upgraded to Inputer but people get all confused by that and give me weird looks so id rather just downgrade back to assistant for now. I did get a raise tho... more for Uncle Sam I always say. Chapman University gets its fair chunk of it too... as much as I love Chapman, it needs to re-think its budget just a bit. I am still a psychology major... not sure if thats exactly what I want but nothing is really coming over the horizon except for massage therapy which I'd really love doing.
Now for the fun stuff. Dancing is still my one way ticket to sanity. Nothing beats being on the floor with music booming all around, your body swaying to the beat, lights flashing and just the pure satisfaction of letting everything go for just one night. Rare now a days cause of work but sometimes you just gotta sacrifice a few hours. Thanks to one of my best buds, Rick, ive discovered raves. I use to think they were bad and dirty dirty but after going its just even better. The people are totally friendly, the music is way kewl, and the atmosphere is just kicking. No attitude really... just dancing and meeting people. Give it a shot yourself, for reals. Maybe you'll walk away with the same attitude, but you never know... you might like it like i do. -steps off soapbox-
Anyway besides that nothing much has been going on. My week is busy with work and school and my weekends usually have an activity planned with friends and family. Just last week my friend Nickie from Ohio came down to visit and saw his very first palm tree and prostitute... just weird things like that happen all the time =o)This weekend I might be going to another rave or to my friend's Date night with her Sorority... the following Gay Night at Magic Mountain... next weekend Thanksgiving.. it never stops!! It'll be a total shocker when I run across one weekend where I dont have ANYTHING planned. That'll be interesting. Im sorry this hasn't been a real intense update or anything. No shocking gossip or anything involved with my life. Gotta have some mystery right? Ya wanna know, gotta ask =o) Till later...
