His new friend the Bee.
A man was walking in a park when suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his leg. He looked down and noticed that a bee was stinging him. He started to swat the bee, but then he thought to himself, "Why shouldn't I just let the bee finish? The bee is only doing what is in his very nature. I must have passed too closely to his hive, and he is only protecting the queen bee and their honey - he is an admirable bee. Am I", he continued, "so much bigger and better than a bee? What makes me so special? Why should I dare to kill another creature just because it is bothering me?" He paused silently for a moment while the bee finished and fell to the ground. He then remembered that a bee will die shortly after a completed stinging. He felt a little sad for his recent acquaintance the bee. He realized that he might actually miss his new friend. By now, the pain in his leg from the stinging was increasing. Slowly, and keeping one eye on the nearly motionless bee, he reached down to scratch this irritation from the stinger that was still stuck in his leg. Knocking the stinger off with his finger, he felt and even sharper pain in his leg. So he stepped on the bee.
The end.
