We live in Eden
We are all alone
No god to pray to
No answers to receive
No punishment dealt
The unappreciative masses
their lives they take for granted
a miracle quickly flashes
and perception is skewed and slanted
What if this is it
we are the end to ourselves
Wouldn't it just fit
all victims of our own hell
We live under one
He dictates what we do
Our punishment he reprieves
He offers eternal wealth
The overly precautious
ruin this world by the next
the nonbelievers nauseous
others wish to die with haste
What if there's more
an existence beyond this one
are you up for the chore
sinless under moon and sun
His gift is the sun
We experience the day anew
Free to see and to believe
And to dictate our own health
The ones that are content
with what has come to pass
they may get what it all meant
it was good enough to make it last
What if this is Eden
no boundaries to overthrow
except those imposed by men
limiting freedom and what we know
