'Old Timer'

This dummy book sleeve graphic designed for Heritage Publications must surely show a fine example of early plate photography at Colorado's "Maroon Bells" mountains, but wait a minute! Who's that handsome hombre' down in the foreground?
As it turns out, none other than yours truly. This scene was actually put together using Adobe graphics tools, with myself on the scene as an old timer, complete with computer generated period costume and whiskers to match. As for the scene, you guessed it! That's a modern day jpeg with the color balance changed, but quite effective I think.
