What is a Web Ring ?

A web ring is a list of pages in the Web that share some common propose.
In our case, the East Timor Webring propose and of all members, is to show the world what is happening in East Timor, to force the international community to take the concrete steps to return East Timor to it's normal live as an independent state, as decided by the majority of it's people.
Each member of a web ring must have in it's page a group of links that point to other members pages of the ring.
You can find an example of this group of links in the end of this page.
This fact makes the members of a web ring to become part of a community that raises the impact of theirs messages to a higher level, than when standing alone by themselves.
The visitor of a member site of a web ring can take the advantage of the links available in all members pages to reach other sites that focus in the same subject.
