1:BLACK SCIENCE #1: BANGIN'

Welcome back to the twisted world of King Mob's Invisibles activist cell, now wreaking their own special kind of havoc all over America!

Since the end of volume one a year has passed, they've fled the country and Boy now sports a cool new hairdo. We start off with the introduction of a new cell leader, one Ms. Jolly Roger, (the leader of a dyke activist cell know as the poison pussies) as she and her cell try to infiltrate a high security military/ultraterrestrial installation in Dulce, New Mexico. Then switch to America's richest invisible, Mason's mansion and King Mob, hiding there and indulging in the luxury, relaxation and "meaningless physical gratification" with Ragged Robin.

When their debauchery is abruptly ended by the aforementioned Jolly Roger on the run from the base, they decide that it's time for the worlds most important anarchists to go back into action to infiltrate the base, bring out Roger's cell members and steal an aids vaccine (Jesus, this is quality reading!).

2:BLACK SCIENCE #2: KICKIN'

The Invisibles arrive in Mexico and meet up with Austin and Emilio, Indian and Scottish friends of King Mob, there, the men go up on the Mesa and spend a night on LSD. Then back on the ground the group rearrange themselves and switch rolls in the cell. King Mob becomes Earth, Jack Frost becomes water and Ragged Robin becomes the new leader by picking air, leaving fire and spirit for Lord Fanny and Boy. Ragged Robin, King Mob, Boy and Jolly Roger head off towards the base where they are captured. Meanwhile Fanny, Jack, Mason, Austin and Emilio get attacked by spirits in a small hotel room.

3:BLACK SCIENCE #3: SORTED

In the hotel room Austin manages to subdue the spirits and return the situation to normality while Fanny contacts the others using a psychic link and discovers the deep shit that they're in. Meanwhile, Ragged Robin has a mind battle and manages to steal the mind control that Quimper has over a guard and uses it to force the guard to shoot the others psychicly damaging Quimper in the process. The daring escape leads to our heros stealing the vaccine and starting making their way back out. King Mob and Jolly Roger break off from Boy and Ragged Robin to further infiltrate the base to release the secrets there and no doubt cause some wanton destruction.

4:BLACK SCIENCE #4: SAFE

Outside the base Fanny and Jack use their tribal magic to paralyse the security systems while Austin dances up a storm, literally. Robin and Boy finally smuggle the vaccine out and into the open air where there are some Delta force elite troops waiting as the bodycount just keeps rising and rising down below with King Mob and Jolly Roger.

Disgusted at the site they see when they open the doors of the level six genetic resarch lab, King Mob kills every living thing there and continues forward where they run into Mr Quimper. After resolving to "Fuck with the Gnome so bad he starts looking fucking handsome" there is little for Roger to do except shoot the creepy little bastard. However, death does not come easily for the small one and after a short but destructive conversation with the 4D armour possesing Colonel Friday, Roger and the King do a runner leaving a damaged but living Quimper and a perfectly healthy Friday to contemplate revenge.

5:TIME MACHINE GO

Takashi, a young Japanese researcher working for Mason Lang has stumbled upon the answer to the project he's been working on, the timesuit. A device which will enable the user to travel through the fourth dimension of time at will and is also of great interest to a certain rosy-cheeked Invisible. When the group reaches San Francisco, Jack and Fanny break off from the rest of the group on a mission to find the much-hinted upon hand of glory by meeting up with Pierrot and Columbine to go see the Harlequinade. The others arrive in Takashi's lab where Takashi explains his theory of the existence of timespace. All hell breaks loose when some Japanese terrorists intent on balancing peoples Karma by means of slow painful torture shoot Robin in the head and kidnap Takashi, Boy and Mason. King Mob who was delayed by a visit to Jacqui (his lover/sister in his previous Gideon Stargrave incarnation) meets the terrorists in the lobby where he manages to save Boy who tells him that Robin is still in the lab which is rigged by a bomb. The explosive finale sees Robin recover and open a telepathic link with King Mob before the whole floor is blown apart around them.

6:THE GIRL MOST LIKELY TO

(please read this before looking at this issue's summary)

The Invisible college finally makes it's proper debut in this fantastic issue. The telepathic link between King Mob and Ragged Robin displaces theirselves and relocates them into the healthy universe, home of none other than the invisible college itself. Here, the antibodies (commonly mistaken for aliens) heal Robin's gunshot wound and while recovering in bed, spills her origin story. Takashi will, in the year 2012, manage to finish the timesuit. The only way he can do that though is to send Ragged Robin back in time to perform a special task that will lead him toward it's creation. But, as robin sits in the suit, the Archons break through into Takashi's lab. Before they can get to her though she is sent back to the past to join John-a-dreams' cell as the Ragged Robin we know. After her story, she and KM take a stroll around the grounds and the edge of space, where the issue leads to a decidedly moody ending.

7:THE SOUND OF THE ATOM SPLITTING

Ugh! Ultraviolence returns for the first time in ages to the Invisibles! Inside the terrorist hideaway Takashi has his eye and the rest of the right side of his face slashed when all of a sudden King Mob and Ragged Robin come in, KM with all guns a blazin'. The battle is short, gory and altogether rather one-sided with the bald one once again the victor. Meanwhile Jack Frost and Lord Fanny go to meet the Harlequinade to obtain the hand of glory, which involves dancing their arses off in front of him while he sits on the bog having a dump. Robin "unlocks" one of the terrorists to find out why they wanted Takashi and learn that their mission had no real relevence to anything they were interested in.

8:SENSITIVE CRIMINALS #1: POOR LITTLE RICH GIRL

With Takashi back in safe hands Robin begins to feel something is not right within her and that the mind battle with Quimper may have left her with more than she bargined for. It's party time for the cell though as they have both Takashi and the hand of glory in tow, they decide to celebrate by getting very drunk and telling Takashi all about the revolution while Robin completes her mission. During this time King Mob sends himself back to 1924 using the same means as in Arcadia in the first volume. Here is where he shall meet a young Lady Edith Manning (whom is being held at gunpoint by the mysterious Papa Skat) and a young Tom O'Bedlam in their own cell from the good old days. It is in this way that King Mob was alive in 1924 causing Lady Edith to recognise him years later before he was an Invisible. (Read the comic, it explains it a whole lot better that I do). Oh yeah, Boy defects and steals the Hand of Glory too.

9:SENSITIVE CRIMINALS #2: MAD DOGS AND ENGLISHMEN

Saving Edith from the seemingly evil Papa Skat, King Mob sorts the whole mess out only to find that Papa Skat is only an Invisible checking to see if Lady Edith's loyalties are right. From there they retire to an old apartment where Edith is taken to meet the Harlequinade by an earlier Pierrot and Columbine. All is not well however, as King Mob's little jaunt has left a stress point in spacetime drawing forth a Cypherman with two collegues to check it out. UGH! Don't you *really* hate that? I do. The return of King Mob's "Ghostbuster" sees it off and Edie returns with the Hand of Glory. When they travel to England to make use of it's power with the rest of the cell (Billy Chang, another King Mob and his lover Queen Mab) they manage to open a doorway through the world which has the unfortunate effect of attracting the shining ones!

10:SENSITIVE CRIMINALS #3: PARISIAN PIERROT

Manifesting itself as a being of time, the shining one's presence warps time around our six little invisbles sending them to a few familiar places from issues of Volume 1. Most notable is that of "Down and out in Heaven and Hell" where Edith and Tom encounter Dane and an older version of Tom. Meanwhile King Mob and King Mob discuss things as normal while time keeps shifting around them. Once she has contacted the Harlequinade to learn of the second operation of the hand, Edith and our King Mob rush off for a quick bout of tantric sex as we have another Volume 1 flashback. Later when all operations are complete, we gather round as the final ritual opens a door to the outer church! The Horror! Fortunatley for him, King Mob slips back into '97 before the gateway fully opens though. Slick bastard!
