One of the prophecies about Rand (Blood on the Rocks of Shayol Ghul etc.) it says "His blood in the pit of doom to free men" THAT is how he is gonna untaint saidin.

I think the Taint and Machin Shin are the same thing. Machin Shin is the essence of maddness and the Taint case the men who channel to go mad. The Ways were created by men using the One Power while it was tainted. So what they did was tainted.

The seals are the taint. There was no taint on Saidin until the seals were placed. This would explain why Lews Therin (LTT) wants to destroy them so badly. It would also explain the oozing vileness everyone feels when near one.

I have noticed that several new Forsaken have appeared on the scene. Now, I do agree with the general consensus that Osan'gar and Aran'gar are Aginor and Balthamel returned. But I do not agree that Mazrim Taim is Demandred. I think he's Osan'gar. That point is a bone of contention between my cousin Rhonda and I. But I have the strong feeling that the man, Moridin, is Ishamael returned. He is just way too trusted by the Dark One to be any one else. Another is his extensive use of the True Power to the point of the saa appearing in his eyes. The only Forsaken to even use that much of the True Power was Ishamael. Ishamael too, tried to manipulate Rand as Moridin is trying to, but Moridin's methods are more productive than Ishamael's. Then, Ishamael was half insane when he dealt with Rand, but his goals were to turn Rand, not kill him like Sammael, Rahvin, and Be'lal. The only one Moridin could be is Ishamael, because Rahvin and Be'lal were obliterated with balefire, Sammael and Demandred were still alive when Moridin was first on the scene, Aginor and Balthamel were already returned, and its highly unlikely that Asmodean will be brought back because the Dark One really doesn't take kindly to weaklings. For my money, its Ishamael. Only he, and maybe Demandred could seriously intimidate the other Forsaken as it seems Moridin has the ability too.

When LTT and the companions placed the seals on the prison, it may not have been done perfectly - seen in part by the fact that ishy was never sealed. I believe that in order to re-seal the prison (which will have to be done, as the DO will not be destroyed, otherwise how will he be released in the next AOL), the current seals must be destroyed, and a new implemented (maybe using the two big sa'angreal as patra rosae (sp?) proposed in the AOL. Perhaps that's why LTT wants to break the seals and what Fel meant to speak to Rand about before he was killed (maybe that's why he was killed). The message was something like "must clear rubble [old seals] before rebuilding [???]" or something like that.

My theory is that the Daughter of the Nine Moons is Birgit. The reasons being:
   1) She is the only female that Mat seems to get along with so well
   2) He is not weary of her being the Daughter
   3) The Seanchan in the tavern said something to the effect of :
"Soon the Return will come and the Daughter of the Nine Moons with it"
This sound as though she is a prophesized figure such as the Dragon Reborn of the Car'a carn. Thus, Birgit could be this prophesized person. Remember that Rand was not from the Aiel civilization (though his father was), thus a prohesized figure doesn't have to be from the Seanchans...

My theory is that the two mindtraps that Moridin has are Asmodean, and, of course, Moghedian. At the end of the fifth book, it says that "death" took Asmodean. Moridin's name means death. Hence, Asmodean is alive.

My theory is that Moiraine is not dead! She is simply trapped in another world similar to (or in) Tel'aran'rhiod. When Egwene under went the test for Accepted, she had hidden in her shift the "twisted stone ter'angral" After Egwene emerged from silver arches ter'angreal (she was nearly lost) one of the sisters said that she had only experienced something similar when two ter'angreal were brought together that performed similar functions.

We also know that the shape, colour and form of ter'angreal's dictate what they do.

Now - notice the similarities between the twisted stone ring and the twisted door frames, both look like a form of stone, both twisted and both flecked. So they perform a similar function - they take the person to another world which is why Lan cannot "feel" Moiraine any more.

So if Moiraine fell through the ter'angreal, she is not necessarily dead, just trapped. (Because it was destroyed)
I also think Egwene will rescue Moiraine because Egwene is a dream walker and very strong in the power.
