BRIEF HISTORY

Bishop comes from a (alternative?) future where mutants rule the earth, being part of a radical police that must establish order into the chaos the hard way. He was brought to present by a gateway of Fitzroy, to recapture him, but his two mates died victims of Fitzroy and his outlaws and he was taken to Xavier by the X-Men. Since his future is not quite pleasant, he's always alert and shows an excess of violence most times, although his life with the X Men seems to have controlled him a bit. His mutant power consists of absorbing any type of energy and use it back against a target. It is known that Bishop somehow killed his sister Shard in the future, but not why he did that. It is not known if he actually killed her but he feels responsible. He once said he was to late to save Shard and said he would not allow that to happen again. The mutant named Mountjoy said that Shard's death was exaggerated. In his future, both of them joined the mutant police but Shard was the one to get promoted, since he didn't want to miss out in the action and not be in the streets that were his first home and had an attitude problem. Shard is now back as a living hologram in the X Factor team. Note : In the future from where he comes, all the X-Men died victims of a traitor, supposed to be the latest member of the team. This is Gambit, so Bishop keeps always an eye on him, just in case. This right here is not known for sure either but Bishop is believed to be Monet St. Croix's grandson
