The Guide to Middle Earth

Well, it's been here for quite a while: The Family Tree of Elves and Men! This monumental (!) piece of work shows the fullest genealogical table of Aragorn's that you can get from The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, and Unfinished Tales. Well, strictly speaking that's not actually true: there are one or two people missing (who aren't really very important, anyway), but I don't think that the effort involved in including them would be worth it just yet.

Until then, I'll be working on the Guide to Middle-earth (as well as Computer Science), which at first will only include people. As it stands, the Guide is nowhere near completion, so this is where you can help. If you've written a piece of text describing a character or location from Middle Earth (or want to) and would like to contribute, e-mail it to me, and I'll put it in! Full credit will be given to the author.

You can get straight to the guide from here, as well as the links on the Family Tree itself. Although in the texts there are lots of links to other names, I'm afraid most of them were put there in anticipation of the entries being written, so don't lead anywhere. The only entries at the moment are on A, F and G, so don't click on a link to anything not beginnig with one of those letters, because the html files for them don't exist yet!

If, for some reason, when you try and look at the Family Tree, the gif doesn't finish downloading and you get a garbled image, this may look all right (It has no background image or fancy title).
