Before continuing with another Web Page about the following year, making a litle analysis after having seen all these years, we can see that in the forties it had a great number of Superman items different from the comic books (that were the origin of the Man of Steel), keeping all the strengh through the years and appearing new Superman collections in 1945 (MORE FUN COMICS-Superboy), 1946 (ADVENTURE COMICS-sUPERBOY), 1949 (SUPERBOY), 1954 (SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLDEN), 1957 (SHOWCASE-Lois Lane), 1958 (SUPERMAN GIRL'S FRIEND LOIS LANE) and 1960 (JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA -with his preview in THE BARVE AND THE BLOLD-).
In the sixties they were all the regular series and a lot of issues that were reprints to the new readers wtih wonderfull collections as the Silver Age Annuals and '80 Pg. Giant'.
At the end of the sixties, Superman had too much superpowers and in 1971 the Man of Steel was renovated, coming new strengh in all his publications with a lot of parallel series and with a great enphasis with Superman The Movie in 1978.
Afterwards, in the middle of the eighties, began several changes, appearing miniseries, team-ups, until The Crisis on Infinite Earths and the Byrne's whole renovation in 1986.
In 1988 with Superman's 50 Anniversary, another time appeared a lot of Superman items, among them, the wonderful book 'THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN COLLECTING' by Harry Matetsky.
Mike Carling in the nineties, as editor, coordinate all Superman series, arriving to the Superman death, and after that event, in 1993 the number of Superman items go up tremendously. We can see it now:
