Poetic, prosaic is how I describe Anna's works. Complete with subtle references and metaphors, her stories make you think. Her vigenette "Echo" is my personal favorite -- her words totally absorbed me.

What better than to hear it straight from the authoress herself:
The X-Files is the most maddenning, the least satisfying, and the best show on TV. And that is why I have become so completely addicted to it - and to writing about it. It is a perfect escape from an admittedly boring reality... A modern fairy-tale, it brings back the forgotten sense of adventure, and pulls our strings as no other story possibly could.

I have little writing experience, although I played with poetry for a while, and I suppose that is apparent in every story I pen. I must say though that had it not been for the inspiring works of other authors -- particularly those of my dear friend Maraschino, whose talent and imagination I will always admire -- I would have never picked up the pen and wrote one word.

And in preparation of the inevitable, I hope that even after The X-Files itself is history, the fanfic archives and newsgroups will still buzz with activity.
