Andy graduated from Franklin County High School (1985-1989) in Rocky Mount, NC. He received a BS in physics from William & Mary, and a MS from UNC at Greensboro. Andy entered the Phd. program at North Carolina State University Department of Physics in the fall of 1995. Commencing in the summer of 1996, he worked under Dr. Harald Ade in the X-ray Microscopy Group. This was followed by research on the mechanisms affecting phase separation and dewetting in blends of polymer films. Andy has participated in and co-authored numerous papers in this field. Andy is an avid sports fan and participates in formal and informal sports with colleges, family and friends.

Little is known about Gail at this time. She is a psychologist. We invite her to tell us about herself and her activities.

Andy now works for Exxon/Mobil in Houston, TX, area. Good work Andy.
