Nancy and her son William C. were listed twice in the 1860 Carroll Census. As a separate household and also as a member of the household of Nancy's brother, Johnson [Jr.]. By the time of the 1870 census, Nancy had retaken the Winesett name and her son also took the Winesett name. They are listed in the 1880 census.
George Alderman said in his annotated 1850 census that Nancy died and George Eddes married Rosanna [Rosamond] Worrell in 1858. George died in a prisoner of war camp in 1864. Clearly Mr. Alderman was wrong about Nancy's death. There may have been a divorce.
It is noted that Rosamond Worrell is the sister of Thaddeus who was married to Nancy's niece A. M. [Matilda] Winesett.
Any information about the members of this family would be appreciated.
