Chocolate Auction

Yes, there will be a Chocolate Auction at MosCon XXIII. Scrumptious concoctions contributed by ConCom members, guests, and public-spirited gourmets will be auctioned off to a pack of ravening chocoholics (all of you out there). This is a MosCon tradition which is calculated to satisfy your innermost cravings.

And this year there's another reason to bid. The proceeds will go toward compensating losses from theft suffered by an artist and two dealers at last year's MosCon. This was the first theft in MosCon's 22-year history and, though there was no way we could have prevented it, we are determined to do our best to help out the victims. Your bids can benefit our talented artists and dealers as well as your taste buds.

Author's Readings

As always, MosCon XXIII will offer lots of opportunities to hear authors read aloud from their own works, up close and personal. But this time around, we expect to try some new variations - such as short readings for your entertainment at the Friday night supper. You may be one of the first to hear a brand new story that won't be published until months later or an old favorite given new depth by the writer's own voice and interpretation.
