THE IMMORTAL HIGHLANDER

Duncan is in New York at the turn of the century. Maybe visiting Connor as he has an antique shop and makes his home in New York. He encounters the Black Hand when they kill a friend of his.

Both Duncan and Amanda have mentioned they were on the Titanic when it went down. We can safely assume they were together.

Duncan because of Darius's teachings is a medic in the great war...to end all wars. His old enemy Xavir St. Cloud kills Duncan's friend Stan while stealing army payroll.

Duncan meets Sean Burns, an immortal physciatrist. He works his magic with a disturbed patient and impresses Duncan with his knowledge of the human mind. They become immortal friends as Sean is not a heat hunter.

Duncan is a medic in WWWI, he is transporting wounded when he meets Simion Killian. Orders come that the war is over, but Killian continues the attack and loses many men.

Duncan testifies against Killian. Killian is sentenced to death. Duncan knows he is an immortal and gets Killian put in a mental institution instead.

Duncan bargains with Drakov to save the life of a friend. He promises not to challenge him, unless they are the last two immortals. This is a time in Russia when the nobility were being whacked left and right.

Duncan has been called to Ireland by an old friend...Anne Devlin. She wants him to join the fight against England for the freedom of Ireland. Duncan refuses, knowing nothing will be gained. Thus is born the myth of Anne Devlin and the IRA.

Duncan is excourting a promising young singer to a party. Little knowning that the host is Kalas. Kalas assures Duncan that all is forgotten since there encounter in1658. But...Kalas uses Marie to trap Duncan...Duncan slashs Kala's throat and the immortal loses his voice.

Duncan comes to an old friends aid...Tom's father owns a mining company. His workers are revolting for better living conditions. His father brings in the pinkertons to stop the workers. This costs him his son's life, as he is killed along with the workers.

Duncan is visiting his friend Micheal just as another immortal kills Micheal's financee Jeanette. Micheal vows that he will revenge Jeanette's death. He extracts a promise from Duncan to finish the job is something happens to him.

Duncan and Nora are enjoying a new years eye party. Nora being a liberated woman asks Duncan to have a child with her. Duncan must tell her that he can not have children.

Marcus is on a killing spree. Killing woman that look like his old love he killed 300 years ago for betraying him and his secret. Duncan must stop him even though Marcus is a friend.

Touring the mid-west with Barnum Bailey...Duncan and Amanda encounter Cory. Cory hatchs a plot to rob banks. All Duncan has to do is come dig them up after the cops have killed them. Amanda and Cory become the immortal Bonnie and Clyde.

After deciding it's time to stop digging up Amanda, Duncan wanders the South. Here he comes upon an immortal named Carl. Carl is about to be hung by bigots. Duncan recues Carl and Carl heads North.

Johnny K is a go fetch for the mob boss. Duncan is aware that Johnny is also pre-immortal. Duncan tries to tell Johnny about the game and the rules after he has become immortal. But Johnny doesn't listen and decides to do it his way.

Duncan has gone to Fitz's funeral...sure. Fitz has been poisoned by someone close to him. Thus Duncan starts a game of "Clue" with Fitz to find his murderer.

While in a bank seeing how much an account he started in 1835 has earned. Tarsus and his student hold up the bank. Duncan agrees not to interfere as long as no one is hurt. A mortal is killed and Duncan whacks Tarsus.

Duncan is in Berlin to talk to his old friend Ingrid about the Nazi threat. He protects a young Jew against a couple Nazi gorillas. He finds that Hilter has gained the love of the German people and is a real threat.

Duncan is smuggling a German Professor out of Berlin. He encounters Amanda who is smuggling stolen currency plates. Duncan gets Amanda and the professor out safely.

Duncan is reporting about the freedom fighters in Spain. His photographer betrays Duncan and the freedom fighters are killed. One of the prices of immortality is becoming insensitive to violence. They see so much violence it doesn't effect them anymore.

Duncan is out for the night to have a good time. Unfortunately he is drawn into a jealous brothers plan to kill his brother. Take over the business and the girlfriend.

Duncan recues a little boy from a fire. He meets a photographer Linda. They have an affair and Duncan influences her career.

Duncan has arranged to ship some people in danger from Stalin's Russia out of the country by Alexi. Duncan spared Alexi's head...but Alexi is a believer in Stalin and betrays Duncan and his friends. Duncan barely gets away with his head. The people are not so lucky.

Hitler is bombing London. Duncan and his lover are trapped in a shelter. He knows she will die but he will not.

Duncan is involved with the French underground. During a scrimch with the German soldiers Duncan is killed. The only witness is a young boy Bernard. Duncan extracts a promise from Bernard not to tell his secret. Bernard promises.

Hitler must be stopped, and Duncan is inBerlin to do just that. With the help of Ingrid they intend to set a bomb near Hitler in his underground shelter. The plan doesn't work and Hitler escapes. Ingrid has a chance to kill him but can't.

The war with Germany is over, Hitler has been defeated. Liam has sumoned Duncan to ask him to join forces to oust England from Ireland. Liam has set a bomb in the pub. It kills many innocent, and Duncan holds Liam for the police.

Duncan, Amanda and Fitz are playing golf. Then it comes to light that Fitz cheated on a golf game in 1720. It cost Duncan the Stone of Scone. The trio steal the stone and Duncan leaves it in plain site on a golf course.

Duncan is visiting his friend Carl. After Carl's baseball game they go for a bite to eat. It is an all white restaurant. After an encounter with the local police...Duncan dicovers from the newspaper that segragation has been deemed unconstitutional.

Duncan is hunting one of his kind who is a serial killer. He comes accross Jim Coltec the Hyoaka who saved Duncan's sanity after Little Deer was murdered. It seems that Jim's cup may be starting to overflow.

Duncan trying to rescue a group of children out of Cambodia encounters Cage again. Cage is smuggling drugs out, but will not empty his helicopter of its valuable cargo to save the children.

Duncan's lover has won big at a casino. But...the money is taken by a theif along with Duncan's watch.

Duncan meets Kuyler while he has no sword. Duncan escapes right into the police.

While escaping the police after his encounter with Kuyler. Duncan just manages to get on board a tour boat. He is taken by the lovely tour guide...Tessa.

Duncan has finally found someone he wants to spend his life...her life with. This is the only woman he shares his secret of immortality with. He demonstrates to Tessa that he cannot die. She decides it doesn't matter to her. Thus begins the happiest 12years of Duncan's immortal life.

Duncan and Tessa return to Seacouver and start an Antique Shop. Tessa's art work grows and so does her reputation. The couple are settled and happy.

While at a New Years Eve party Duncan encounters Walter Reinhart. A friendly sparring match begins. But Walter has other plans. Duncan just escapes, and rejoins Tessa to toast in the new year.
