So I'm telling Poly about my little conversation with Dagger. Poly wants to know why I actually went to go talk to Dagger. And he wants to know why I didn't call him. I tell him, I was curious, and that Dagger if he really wanted to could hunt me down. It's not that hard. I also tell him that I did call, but he wasn't home. Poly didn't say much to that. I think he's still trying to figure out what to do with me. *smirk* Well it's time to play message bearer. I really hope Poly doesn't kill me. I give Poly Dagger's message about diabing him. Now I sit back and wait. Poly falls out of his chair laughing. I'm a bit confused, as I thought this was a rather serious threat, and now I'm even slightly offended. Poly just wants to know what would happen if he diabed Dagger first. For some reason that really offended me. I guess the idea of sucking someone's soul out, and destroying them in the process really does baffle me. God if you're going to kill someone, just kill them and get it over with. Dragging torment out like that is just leaving oneself wide open to an attack. Why do people not understand this? OKOK enough of my rant. On with the story.
It's a few nights later, my cell phone rings. I actually answer it for once. It's Kayta! OK so I'm ecstatic now. *sigh* just wipe that knowing smirk off you're face now. Kayta want's to know if it's actually me. Obviously it is, it's not like Al or anyone else is going to answer my phone anymore. So I meet up with Kayta, and we end up back at my place. I'm living off Wall Street now. We're hanging out on the couch, talking and catching. My phone rings. I let the computer pick it up. Lia leaves a message. She want's me to come over and meet Todd again She thinks he'd make a good family member, and she wants my opinion. Kayta just looks at me thinking we should go, and then wants to know where Lia is. So I tell him she's still at Poly's. Kayta wants to know where Poly lives now. So I offer to show him. Kayta picks me up. I liked that a whole lot. I also found it humorous as I am taller than he is. *grin* Anyway. We go to Poly's. Well I get carried to Poly's.
Lia meets us at the gate. She's grinning as I get carried in, and comments that she didn't know Kayta was back in town. I just grin at her. She ushers us inside.
Kayta's still carrying me. I'm still happy about this. Todd however looks really concerned, he wants to know if I'm OK. Lia mearly comments that I'm getting pampered. *grin* And I'm loving every second of it.
I tell Todd 'lo. He wanted to know why I'm talking. Told him that I got my voice back, and I'll tell him the story later. Kayta wanders across the room, and sits himself on the table, he settles me in his lap. So I lean against him all happy and content like. Oh just shut up already...will you?
Lia gets up and then drags my off my comfy spot, and into the kitchen. We hold a little 'talk'. She wants to bring Todd into the family, but she doesn't want to do it personally. She mentions that Poly doesn't want another kid. Told her not to look at me. I don't want kids. She asked me if I thought Kayta would do it. I blinked. Told her I didn't have a clue. Lia sighed. A thought starts forming in my brain. I decide to share it with Lia. Told her that when Kernel made me, he gave me a choice. Die or Become one. That happened after he found out that I knew about vampires. Lia looked startled. I don't think she knew Kernel made me. *snicker* Anyway told Lia to 'arrange' for Todd to find out about vampies. Then let it slip to Poly that Todd knows. Poly would have to take steps at that point. Lia if anything looked even more startled. But she nodded, and we went back into the living room. The guys were talking about cars.
Asked Kayta if I could have my spot back. He nodded. I'm all content and happy again. Todd and Kayta wanted to know what Lia and I were talking about. So again I said The seven best ways to tie a man to the bed. Kayta then starts telling me how and what to use. I blushed again. And I fled.
I'm hanging out at Grand Central Station. Three guys are hanging out talking sports. One soccer star, and one football star. They were aruging about which is the true football. I wandered up and settled the argument for them. That soccer was around before football, and also had the name football before football did. So therefore the correct form of football is football. That the other form of football is called american football. I think I baffled them. I thought it was rather clear. I'm about to go, when I hear Lia's voice over the PA system. She's wanting to know where the fuck I am. *smirk* Yah Lia likes to intimidate the help desk. So I stand on a bench, wave my hands, and scream over here. Lia joins us.
Lia is eyeing the men now. She asks me what their names are. I honestly don't have a clue. So I ask them. They are called Guido, Zander, and Juan.
Well Lia and I talk for a bit. Lia's a bit annoyed, as she was trying to set Poly up with Denali, and it looked like it was working. But Denali then found Zander. Oh well. Lia and I take our leave, we end up back at Poly's dojo. Lia and I then start beating on each other. I take that back. Lia pounds me into a pulp, and I land maybe one hit on her. While were resting Lia casually mentions that Kayta is a daddy now. So I grin and ask her if I'm going to have to compete for his affections. Lia just laughs.
