Drop cloak and tractor the message bouy...

We're coming into range.

Droping out of cloak.

Engaging tractor beam, Commander.

Got it. Beaming it aboard now.

Hennessey: Rengage the cloaking device and begin your analysis on that beacon.

The cloak is back up. I'll have to head to engineering to complete the diagnostics.

The Chief rises and heads for main engineering. Odo takes his place at the Engineering console.

It doesn't look like we were detected.

Long range sensors aren't picking up any kind of Dominion activity.

We should probably leave this area before the Jem'Hadar realize that we were here.

Hennessey: Good idea, Doctor.

We should check out those residual polaron readings we found earlier.

Hennessey: Lock on to those readings and engage.

Aye aye, Commander. Course laid in.

Engage.

Commander, I'm picking up a Cardassian warp signature moving out of that system.

It appears to be a Keldon-Class ship.

Commander, there are polaron and spiral wave disruptor readings ahead. I'm also showing Klingon disruptor fire.

What would the Klingons be doing this far into Dominion territory? We're nearing the system.

Hennessey: Bring us out of warp. Major, be ready just in case.

Slowing to impulse power.

Sensors aren't showing any ships in the system, but there is a small debris field bearing 341 mark 004.

There are Dominion and Klingon composites in the debris. It appears to be the remains of one Jem'Hadar fighter and a Klingon B'rel-Class Bird of Prey.

One small ship this far in?

No survivors, Commander.

Hennessey: Major, you have the bridge. I'm heading down to Engineering.

You rise from your chair and head out the door. After a short walk down the corridor, you come to the turbolift.

Hennessey:
Computer, deck 2, Main Engineering.
