Rain from the Heavens
I sat watching the sky,
Looking for the signs to cross,
And turn the rich blue into a blood red,
As fire rains from the heav'ns.

O Come my Lord and wipe away,
These crimsom stains on my breast,
And cleanse my soul of the sin that burns,
O come, rain from the heav'ns.

The fire rains down and scortches the Earth,
The great purge cleanses away the impure,
And cures the pains clutching at my heart,
And the fire rains down from the heav'ns.

The fire gives way and I survive,
Then fades into a golden sky,
And my master comes, ready to begin,
His reign from the heav'ns.
