Here's a shot of the Front Pylon, focusing on the left side. Here you can see the rest of Ptolemy Whats-his-Number as he offers captives to the Gods.

His upraised hand has what looks like a club, and since we can't see his left hand anymore, it's easy to imagine he's flipping Horus the bird and saying "come here and I'll beat you silly, fool!"

Speaking of imagination: those two grooves that are surrounding Horus were where flagstaffs were supposed to go, and the square holes in the pylon were where they would have been tied down.

Me, I thought they were very primitive laundry chutes, but what do I know...
