The Corporeal Movement of the Symphony is most commonly thought of as Earth, since that is where the War rages hottest. But it is more than one world. The Corporeal Movement is the entire physical universe, and it is perhaps the most important theatre of the War.

Why? Because the human inhabitants of the Corporeal are the whole purpose of the War. They are created in the image of God, and possess a spark of Divinity that makes them potentially greater than even the greatest of Archangels. Heaven wishes them to reach their full potential, while Hell wishes to enslave and destroy them. Some humans have learned of this, and have chosen sides. Prophets and madmen to the masses of humanity, they are known as Soldiers by the inhabitants of the Celestial realms.

The Corporeal has also become home to the Renegades and Outcasts, Celestial beings fleeing the War and contact with either side. Some do so out of fear, others out of disgust, and some out of boredom. They are hunted by their former allies, and recruited or slain by their former enemies. Hounded on all sides, they seek the one thing the teeming masses of humanity take for granted: safety.
