Religion is the opium of the mass. A belief in things that cannot be scientifically proven (including a belief in God/deity) is society's way of filling in the blanks to explain questions for which they have no logical answers—and never will. Those who claim that the existence of God is a fact must be outrageously irrational. Until somebody can arrange for me to have sex with God/Allah, I cannot honestly believe his/her/its existence. Those who claim that the existence of such higher power is he truth clearly operate on wishful thinking, because all facts can easily be proven the way 1+1=2. I am very pleased to encounter the Indonesian Skeptics Society, because it shows me that there are Indonesian people like myself who have guts to go beyond their cultural, national, traditional, educational, and moral boundaries to explore the truth. I am an atheist, but not a communist. I am an atheist operating according to the law of free competition. Stupid Indonesians always associate atheism to communism. For God's sake, please get some more education. Atheism and communism are two different thi gs. Finally, if you are an agnostic, why don't you make a stand and pick what you are? An agnostic is a gay in terms of his/her belief system.
