The following pictures can actually be viewed in 3-D! Here's how. Sit squarely in front of your monitor and hold one finger (or a pencil) about six inches in front of your nose. Focus on IT, but notice that you see four pictures in a row instead of two on the screen. SLOWLY move your finger straight towards the screen, but keep your focus firmly on it. You will notice that the two inner images of the pic will start to overlap. Continue to move your finger until they meld. At that point, the image (picture) will appear to be at the same distance as your finger, AND WILL BE IN 3-D. Slowly drop your finger (or the pencil) while holding the convergence of your eyes. The over-lapping images on the screen will remain in 3-D. What you have done is simply crossed your eyes until the picture pairs on the screen overlapped. Getting your eye muscles to behave in this way is tricky at first, but you can get the hang of it. This may take a little practice, but you'll know it when you've got it. Have fun!
