The Garlicks had ensured that Docceroo was an enormous success, garnering nearly ten viewers. Although they were killed off at the end of the story, the publicx clamoured for more. In the meantime, the show went on, and the next story The Hedge of Destruction, written by David Wicketer, wa sset entirely inside the TURDIS. The next story, John Look,a rotter's historical was about the famous explorer from Ireland who invented the little round mint with the hole in the middle - Mark O'Polo. This story concerned O'Polo's attempts to travel to a cafe to meet the Mangle leader, Cuddly Khan.
Following this venture into the vaguely realistic, the travellers landed on the planet whose seas were made of bums, Moreanus, to find The Keys of Moreanus, and the travellers were up against the evil Boord, and their leader YarBooSucks. From Moreanus, the next story was John Look a rotter's The Has Ticks, based on a group of people who, in the thirteenth century, had managed to calculate the length of a year to two decimal places, but had not yet invented a cream for killing lice.
Back to the sci-fi stories next, with Peter U R A Oldman's The Senselessrites, about a group of dozy monsters who looked as if they'd fall asleep any minute, which is exactly what the audience did when they saw five minutes of this rubbish. Thank goodness it was back to histericals, and Dennis Forker's The Snohw of Terror. Set in the time when the French were particularly revolting, Doceroo only just managed to avoid having his head cut off, but he managed to zip his trousers up in time.
And so the first season of Doceroo was over. Audience figures were impressive, and the Boob decided to have another season in the hope that people would ignore it, and they could justifiebly cancel it. The first story was a particularly horrific one, Planet of Jew Ants, where the time travelling quartet are harassed by a group of Jewish insects in Louis MarksandSpencers three part. And then...the return of the Garlics! The Garlic Invasion of Earth saw the terrible monsters try and defeat Doceroo again. But they didn't, and Susan left.
