Quild usually wears a set of black drow chainmail+3, and a Piwafwi cloak+2. When in battle, he weilds a Longsword+2 that can secrete a vile poison once every 3 days, that lasts for 3 rounds. In his other hand, he wears a buckler shield+4. Aside from his combat items, Quild does not own nor use any other magical item.

Quild was born after Sorn was removed from House Duskryn. He was born before Krenaste, and therefore was the Secondboy of the House, right after Vrinn. Quild looked up to Vrinn, as he was about to enter the Melee Magarthee, (the Famous Fighters School in Menzoberranzan). His hopes for his older brother to watch him succeed were drastically cut down, upon the return of Sorn, who in a fierce weapons battle, ended the life of Vrinn rather painfully. Sorn recieved the title of Elderboy and upon his completion of the Academy, left a mark for House Duskryn at the academy for his fighting skills. Quild went to the Academy a year after Sorn graduated, and despite his best efforts, he could never step out of the shadow that Sorn had created. Once Quild qraduated himself, he hastilly recieved the position of House Weapons Master, since Vrinn (who originally held it) was dead. Currently Quild is bidding his time and waiting for the chance to kill Sorn for ruining his "dreams". He is contemplating murdering him, for he knows that he could never take Sorn in an open combat.

Quild is driven upon a fierce hatred for his older brother Sorn. He see's Sorn as a threat to his very existance, for Sorn is a master of many talents, including fighting. Quild himself is a rather capable fighter, but from a description from Sorn, "Quild fights more like a raging rothee, than like a warrior. He attacks outright, and uses no skills nor techniques to win.", he seems more like a weak fighter in many aspects.
