"I am sorry that the board and I could not agree on an appropriate role for me"
Subject: Take Care Now
I am sorry that the board and I could not agree on an appropriate role for me in the new leadership structure. I think Si1verP1atter has a really great mission in life: enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of researchers and scientist worldwide.
I've found working with SilverPlatter customers, partners, shareholders, and employees truly rewarding. I certainly wish you all the best in the future.
I have felt particularly privileged to work with Ron and the excellent leadership team that he put together.
My immediate plans are to hit {Alt}{Control}{Delete}.
For me this will be a special trip with my two sons, Matthew, age 21, and Michael, age 16. We are spending three weeks in Transylvania (Romania) volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. We will be part of a team of 100 people building 10 houses in 2 weeks working alongside the eventual home owners. In the midst of this construction project there is a break to take a trip to Ramnicu Valcea in the Transylvanian Alps, which NASA has designated as one of the best sites in the world for watching the August 11th total solar eclipse. From August 1 until August 14 there will be daily updates on the progress of this "accelerated build" available on the WEB at: "http://come.to/eclipsebuild". Look for pictures on that website.
I can be reached at JDove@Mediaone.net. Keep in touch.
