The Doctor finds himself on a jungle planet where he befriends Leela, a warrior living in exile from
the Sevateem tribe. At first regarded as The Evil One, The Doctor wins her trust and discovers
this primitive culture using advanced technology to worship Xoanon, their God held prisoner by
the mysterious Tesh. Intrigued, The Doctor explores the surrounding jungle, finding the The Evil
One's likeness carved on a nearby mountainside is his own face!
This Baker-era classic introduces Leela (Louise Jameson), his companion until the Key
to Time season.

The Crusades finds the TARDIS crew arriving in 12th Century Palestine, where they become involved
in the political struggle between the invading King Richard the Lionheart and the local Saracen empire.
Richard plans a diplomatic end to the conflict, enlisting the help of The Doctor and his companions.
In The Space Museum, they visit the planet Xeros, finding themselves on display as exhibits in a
strange museum. Invisible to the local inhabitans, The Doctor realizes that the TARDIS has jumped a time
track and they are witnessing their own possible future as prisoners of the warlike Moroks.
Collector's edition packaging (with booklet and audio CD) brings the remaining episodes of these
Hartnell-era gems back to the small screen at last.

to be Varga, leader of the Martian Ice Warriors that visited Earth during the prehistoric Ice Age.
Once revived by the team, Varga forces the Doctor's companion Victoria to help him free the rest of his
crew, and once again launch an attack on humanity.

The Doctor and Ace arrive on the planet Segonax to watch the "Greatest Show in the Galaxy", the Psychic

secret of the Circus, that the family are the terrifying Gods of Ragnarok, whose lust for novelty
is backed by the constant threat of death for those who fail to please them.
