Bureau Issue Standard Equipment Package

This is a list of equipment that I issue to new field agents. That agent may request, purchase or acquire more equipment. Remember, the more stuff you have, the harder it is to hide. This is a basic core package that can be easily added on to.

(1) Bureau ID card

This is your Bureau ID card. See B13, pg 30

(1) FBI Commission Booklet

FBI Badge and ID card are issued to each agent. If a person runs a computer check or calls FBI Headquarters, you will be identified as an FBI agent on special assignmnet.

(2) Bureau Issue Wrist Watches

This normal looking watch has the following features
  • Geiger Counter
  • 2 Way Radio, 2 mile range.
  • Pulse indicator.  Sensor on back of watch.
  • See STNF, pg30 for more details
(1) Bureau Issue Cellular Phone

Besides being able to use regular cellphone subscribers, it is also linked into ORACL. It works like a standard digital/cellular phone, except that you are never out of range.  The phone can replace several pieces of equipment.  It has the following features:
  • Small color LCD panel, can display data or pictures.
  • Encrypted 2-way radio and datalink with 15 mile range (Links to RV or other phones)
  • Color Camera, 3X zoom, uses datalink for realtime images.  Can be used for video or stills.
  • GPS receiver / Map.
  • Removable micro hard drive stores 5000 images.
  • Universal homing device with a 10 mile range.
  • Acts as a signal repeater for other phones.
  • AM / FM and Weather Radio
  • Part of the FIST system.
  • Can be linked with the Bureau Laptop for increased functions.
  • Command or timed detonation for 150 pts of blast.
  • Belt clip, 40 different rings, vibrate, fixed antenna, headset with VOX, belt clip and many diffrent styles and colors to choose from.  Don't forget the simulated leather carrying case.
(1) Bureau Issue Comb

This is the vaunted Unbreakable comb. The comb is literally unbreakable. May take up to 6 months for a replacement.

(1) Bureau Issue Conformal Body Armor

This body armor is fitted to each agent. It is made of a form fitting, extremely dense, flexible material (don't ask me what it is, I only wear the thing). Yet it is very lightweight and easily concealed under a shirt.

(2) Bureau Issue Sunglasses

These sunglasses have a built-in Kirilian filter that can be turned on and off. The tinting can be adjusted by sliding your finger along the side of the arms. The Kirilian Filter use the standard Kirilian Color Code. Must be within 5 feet for a good, single person reading, or 15' for a general reading of an area. Available in many styles and brand names. UV protected, polarized and scratch resistant.  The glasses only give you a general reading (Good to Evil, Alien, Human, Other).

(1) Night vision goggles

Military issue AN/PVS-5 with extra AA Batteries. Enables wearer to "see" in the dark. Device amplifies abient light and part of the Infrared spectrum into shades of green. Must have at least marginal light (starlight or moonlight) to see well, unless you have a infrared spotlight. Has a auto cutoff switch if too much light is present. Unit comes with small IR light for close work (6ft. Range). Batteries last about 40 hours of continuous use.
NOTE: You cannot do kirilian readings with night vision goggles, because the goggles are monochromatic.

(1) Pistol

Pistol of choice. Small calibers (.380 or smaller) are not recommended unless needed for concealability. Accessories available. Supplied with 10 extra clips and ammo (mixed types).
Go to Pistols

(1) Pocket Knife

Small folding pocket knife of agents choice. A Swiss Army or Leatherman type is suggested.

(1) Large Knife

Another knife of choice, preferably a combat type. (Kabar or Stilleto)

(1 set) Heavy Combat Gear

This is the gear that can be used in blatant combat situations. The following categories of gear are offered to agents who desire it. The bureau will not issue equipment to a unskilled person.
  • Two other firearms of choice: Any combination of authorized weapons may be chosen.  Go to Gun Locker.  I suggest a SMG and either a shotgun or rifle for most.
  • Grenades and Explosives: Grenades and explosives are issued only to properly trained personnel. Types of and amounts are issued on a personal request basis.
  • Tactical body armor: Class IIIA combat body armor with Spectra-Shield. Has removable / customizable Velcro pouches and pockets for various equipment and ammo. This type of body armor is illegal for civilians to own. Fits over body armor above.

This usually ruins the day of all parties involved. The helmet can also be timed detonated. It also contains a small two way radio for communicaton between people.
