Band Updates
November 1, 1997
Everyone-today is a landmark day in the history of my favorite local band and yours...today was the day they had their first practice! I actually got to hear some of it, and let me just say, these guys are going straight to the top! They've got a great sound, and I think things are only going to get better from here on in!

Well, things our definitely looking up for this band, let me tell you! It looks like they may be opening for Domestic Problems some time in the near future, I'll keep everyone posted. There have been a couple of practices since the beginning of the month, and they just keep getting better!
November 25, 1997
Hey! Looks like these guys are really getting their stuff together! Today they played their first show in the Cook Carriage House at Aquinas. Though it eventually degenerated into mass chaos, while they were singing, everything went really well, and the crowd was really getting into the songs. I think they've got some real promise!
February 10, 1998
Today is a sad day for all of us Meenkee fans. I was just informed that the band we all were just getting to know and love is no more. So, this page will remain as a memorial to what could have been one of the greatest bands ever. Meenkee will live on forever in our hearts and memories. *sniff* Good-bye!
