Authors

Over the years, as I have read many books, both fiction and non-fiction, I have built up what might be considered a 'stable' group of authors whose books I would constantly look up and, when doing my book purchases, would consider buying their books first. On occasions, this has extended to the editor of a book (especially anthologies) since I find their editorial tastes to be somewhat in line with mine or, at least, I know will 'push the boundary' of what fiction writing is possible of doing.

In these pages, I hope to put forward my opinions on the author's writing, their books and some background detail which I've discovered in various other books, biographies and bibliographies. The hope is to help you to look for information on authors whose books you may want to try but are not sure whether they are to your tastes or not.

As with my other 'review' pages, the opinions expresses on these pages are mine alone. Odds are your opinion on certain writers may well be totally opposite mine. But I hope even then, you'll find it educational. At the very least, you'll have something to add to your thesis on the tastes of people in authors...
