Special
Agent Tom Colton Assigned to investigate a series of mysterious
murders in Baltimore, Maryland, in which no evident point
of entry was possible, Special Agent Tom Colton requests
assistance from Agent Scully. Being past classmates from
the F.B.I. Academy in Quantico, Colton hopes to encourage
Scully to leave her placement with the X-Files and better
her career with more standard cases. To Colton's chagrin,
Agent Mulder tags along and soon uncovers evidence which
indicates that the case falls under the auspices of the
X-Files. Stripped of his investigation by Mulder and
Scully, Agent Colton is forced to find a new case. |
Sheriff Charley Tskany When a rancher murders a Native
American, named Joseph Goodensnake, claiming that he was
killing a wild animal, Agent Mulder requests the case.
While investigating, Mulder and Scully meet Sheriff
Tskany, who only allows them a cursory examination of the
victim's body... though enough to reveal his animalistic
fangs. Tskany takes Mulder to an elder, named Ish, who
recounts a story about the Manitou, a spirit which causes
man to become beast. Fox quickly deduces that the
rancher's son, Lyle Parker, has been possessed by the
Manitou spirit. Sheriff Tskany and Agent Mulder arrive in
time to rescue Dana and kill the rampaging beast. |
Detective
Frank Briggs (retired) When visited by Agents Mulder and Scully,
retired Detective Frank Briggs recounts his
investigations of Eugene Victor Tooms as a suspect of
repeating murders from 1933 and 1963. Using Briggs'
background information on the past murders as well as
evidence which implicates Tooms as a suspect in the
current set of murders, Mulder and Dana are able to
confront Tooms and have him detained in a psychological
facility. Following Eugene's release from the hospital,
Dana again requests the assistance of Detective Briggs in
finding a fifth murder victim from 1933. Frank seemingly
"feels" the presence of the victim's remains
sealed in the cement floor of Ruxton Chemical Plant.
Review of the sixty-year old body contains evidence of
Toom's gnaw-marks on the bones. |
Sheriff Spencer Mulder and Scully are called to a scene
of multiple murders in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Working
with Sheriff Spencer, Mulder attempts to form a profile
of the murderers to predict the next outbreak of madness
which causes seemingly normal people to kill. While
questioning a murder suspect, Mrs. McRoberts, the suspect
falls under the compulsive suggestions of a microwave and
attacks Agent Mulder with a knife. Sheriff Spencer is
forced to shoot McRoberts in order to save Mulder. |
Detective Angela White Agents Scully and Mulder journey
to the town of Comity, New Hampshire, to assist Detective
Angela White in the investigation of a series of
cult-style murders. A local astrologer explains to Mulder
that the cause behind the town's recent bizarrities is
that it lies directly in line with a cosmic convergence,
or planetary alignment. Succumbing to the overwhelming
cosmic forces, Agent Mulder and Detective White engage in
a brief romantic interlude in Fox's hotel room, only to
be interrupted by a waspish Agent Scully. Further
hilarity ensues as Agent Scully falls further under the
convergent forces and continues to clash with Detective
White. |
Detective
Munch After
apprehending the Lone Gunmen in a warehouse with a naked
and delirious Agent Mulder, Detective Munch
understandably wants to learn the circumstances behind
their bizarre activities. Robert Byers proceeds to
recount a tale concerning a woman named Susan Modeski and
a plot by a secret government agency attempting to infect
the public, through asthma inhalers, with a paranioa
inducing gas. Munch remains skeptical of the suspects'
story even after they are released. |
