Service Record/Background:
Here is a general chronology:
2358
Started Gowath Medical College (pre-Med and veterinary sciences).
2360
Started Medical studies at Romulan Medical College and also enrolled in War College.
2361
Continued Medical studies while also enrolled in Officer’s Command College.
2362
Continued Medical studies, given promotion to Sub-Lieutenant after graduating from command college.
2363
Finish studies at Medical college, specialized in non-Romulan anatomy, general anatomy, chemistry (alchemy), and micro/molecular biology.
2364
Promoted to Lieutenant. Assigned to outpost near Federation Neutral zone. Develop new ointment to heal burns faster. Start study of exobiology and Terran anatomy.
2365
My sister, Jera, marries Senator Talus tr’Azar. Given promotion (most likely as a gift from my sister) to Ante-Centurion. Assigned to Blood Talon (their mission was to monitor Bajoran Rebellion). Assigned as chief medic, given full lab supplies to continue study of exobiology.
2366
Have ‘incident’ with Cardassian transport and escort vessels. Rescue Bajorans from transport vessel before it explodes. After bringing them onboard, I tending to their injuries, and we returned them to Bajor.
Ordered home and assigned to new D’Deridex vessel, Nightwing, with the new assignment to patrol Federation border.
Publish book on exobiology and given promotion to Centurion.
At end of year, return home to participate in conference about Vulcan cultural exchange.
2367
Participate in Vulcan-Romulan doctor exchange. Arrive at Vulcan Medical Academy early in the year. Teach Klingon and Romulan anatomy.
Study Federation regulations, culture, and learn more on Terran anatomy. Given rank of Senior Centurion for my efforts.
2368
Cultural exchange program canceled. Given honorary diplomatic status for participating in the program. Return to Nightwing, patrolling Federation border. Convince Commander t’Ashtar to allow me to start Federation custom of physician confidentiality.
Start research (with computer files I had gotten from Vulcan) on psychology to assist with counseling duties.
2369
Ordered to stop studies. Change personal study to Federation lifeforms not mentioned in Romulan texts (from documents optained while on Vulcan)
2370
Hear reports of alliance with Cardassia, my brother-in-law tells me that my commander is mentioned in the negotiations. The Imperial Senate rejects the offers, but the Tal-Shair continue the talks in secret.
2371
Tal-Shair alliance made with Cardassian Union. Senator Talus tells me of the investigation into the incidents of 2366.
Start updating the Romulan manuals on emergency medicine, incorporating some effective Federation techniques.
2372
My emergency medicine journals become new standard issue. I am given promotion to Sub-Commander and asked if I will start teaching at the Romulan Medical College after my current assignment. Senator Talus tells me of impending trial, I inform the Commander, who reassures me not to worry.
2373
Called back to Homeworld for Commander t’Ashtar’s trial. I declare that I acted alone and disobeyed the Commander’s orders in saving the Bajorans. Trial ends with both of us losing our rank and ordered to the colony on Torin IX (a dreadful place). The Vulcan ambassador offers us asylum within Federation space. I agree and also get my Commander to agree. When we arrive at Vulcan, I return to the Medical College.
2374
After receiving too much publicity (we wanted low profiles), left for an outlying Federation colony.
Update:
2374
After Commander Stalla t'Siglorel returned Doctor tr'Rheims to Romulan space, he was killed by the Tal-Shiar.

Turpin has always been a talented and lucky Romulan. His parents, sister, and brother-in-law all have helped Turpin to advance in his career and his studies. His talents allowed him to start his studies at an early age and to quickly improve his skills. Turpin was also added by his father and brother-in-law in political matters. His many complaints about he use of his skills for military use do not seem to get the attention of high ranking military officials. He is not worried about his dismissal and is looking forward to the opportunity to continue his studies, learn more about Federation cultures, and get a much needed rest.
Personality Profile: Turpin is a unique Romulan in that he seems to have compassion for others races, yet he is still respected by many Romulans. Once you get over his ‘Romulan/Vulcan’ appearance, he is easy to talk to and has been called an excellent listener. He gets joy from helping others.
Special Notes: Turpin has traveled to Sienica with his former CO, Stalla t’Ashtar. While their personalities and outlooks on life are quite different, they have become good friends.
