Dawson and his mom are sitting in his room watching a movie. Dawson keeps talking about Shakespeare and how he conquered every genre before his time and thne finally settled on tragedy. Gail keeps telling him to shut up so she can watch the movie. Dawson notices that she is depressed and even cried in the commercials. Gail then says that Dawson is depressed too. Ever since he broke up with Joey he hasn't said a word about it and he should learn to express his grief. She then leaves to go to bed and Dawson settles down to watch another movie.
Everyone is in the classroom and the teacher is handing out the booklets for the english exam. He is acting really really sarcastic and telling them that they will all fail. He also says that he will be holding a study session at 3 o'clock in the afternoon that day.
They all walk out of the class room and Joey catches up to Dawson. He dosn't want to talk to her but she pressurizes him into talking to her. They get into a fight about Joey wanting space and Dawson giving it to her until Dawson asks her what she really does want.
Pacey and Andie are in the cafateria talking about the bad food. Andie then shows a sex purity test that she found in a magazine. Pacey starts to get nervous incase she finds out about Tamara and tries to get her to put it away
They walk out into the hall way and Andie asks him if he is going to the study hour and he says that he is not but Andie makes him come with her
Jen is jogging and Chris catches up to her. He starts flirting with her but Jen refuses all his attempts. After a while he leaves and Dawson comes up to her. He invites her to come to the study session with her and she says that she'll think about it.
Pacey and Andie, Chris and Jack arrive at the classroom to find that the study date has been cancelled. Chris offers to have a study session at his house and they agree. Andie then invites Joey and Pacey invites Dawson.
Chris gives them a tour of his house which is huge and then introduces them to his 12 year old sister Dina.
Andie tries to get organized and plans out their routine etc but the rest are less then enthusiastic and decide to order pizza instead
Chris is with Jen in the kitchen and he starts flirting with her again before she finally gives in to his efforts.
Andie is trying to quiz people but they are getting all the answers wrong, until finally Joey gets part of the question right and Dawson gets the other part. Then Pacey thinks that they should hit the hot tub but Andie disagrees and then Chris and Jen suggest that they do the purity test and they all agree but Andie still trying to maintain control says that they should past the test around and just write down the answers.
After a time lapse where they read out the questions. When Joey reads out the last question : How many times have you been in love, Joey gives dawson a look and then hands in her sheet and goes into the kitchen. Dawson follows her and says he saw the look. Joey asks him to give her space and that she came here to study and didn't know that he was coming. She walks out and Dina walks in. Dawson asks her where the coffee is and she tells him. She then asks him to tell her what happened but he dosn't want to. She syas that the two of them are the same and Dawson thinks she's gone nuts.
The scores of the test are tallied up and Chris was the worst, Joey and Dawson were the same, and Andie was the best and then they notice that Pacey didn't hand his in. Chris start teasing him about the question : did you ever have sex with someone twice your age. Andie realizes that he had sex with Tamara and walks out of the room.
Chris and Dawson are talking down by the Jacuzzi. They are wondering where Pacey and Andie are. Chris then asks Dawson whether Jen likes him or not and he tells her that shes in a really vunrable state right now and not to take advantage of her. Chris reckons that he'll have got her by the end of the night though and tells Dawson that when the light in the geusthouse is out that hes in there with Jen. Before Dawson leaves he tells him to ask for a swim suit if he wants one.
Jen comes up to Joey and asks her whether she wants to go in the hot tub. She says she only came to study. Jen then tells her she's sorry for what happened between her and Dawson and Joey dosn't believe her. Jen then tells her that she use to think that they didn't like each other because of Dawson but now she realizes that it was because Joey was just a bitch.
Pacey finds Andie on the swings. She is really upset because of Pacey sleeping with Tamara and that pAcey lied to her. She thinks that he could have told her but he wants to know how. He then goes on to tell her that they are all sexual creatures but Andie won't accept it and that if she won't accpet it then they can't be together.
Chris tells Jen that the hot tub is ready and she comes downstairs. On the way down Dawson catches her and tells her that Chris plans to sleep with her that night. She tells him that she knows and that she can handle it and she might even have a plan of her own.
On his way out Dina calls Dawson over. He comes over and asks if shes been hiding. She dosn't reply but says that if hes been in love only once was it with Joey or Jen. He asks her how she knows and its because she has the answer sheets. She says that she'll give him Joeys answer sheet if he kisses her. He refuses and Dina tells him that even though he has fallen in love once Joey has fallen in love twice
Chris and Jen are still in the Jacuzzi when she says that they should study. He tells her he dosn't want to and they start kissing. They stop and talk a bit more. Jen still thinks they should start studying but they just start kissing again.
Dawson is with Pacey and he asks Pacey whether Andie is ok. He says that she is but she needs to be alone. He then asks him why he just didn't put no. He says it was because he wanted to be honest with her. Pacey asks Dawson what he would have done. Dawson says that he would have liked to say he would have been honest but he seems to be having a lot of trouble saying things these days. Pacey tells him to try harder.
Dawson walks out onto the porch where Joey is trying to study. She tells him that she dosn't want to talk about it but Dawson asks her who love number 2 was. She asks him if he looked at her test and he says he didn't but Dina told him. Joey says that she wants to go back to being friends but Dawson tells her that if she can't see why that can't happen then she dosn't get him. Joey walks off
Dina is standing at the doorway and congradulates on his performance and asks him if he is really crying. He gets angry at her and tells her that one kiss can wreck everything, it can wreck friendships, hearts are broken adn there are repercussions. She gets upset and runs off. Dawson turns around to see Joey standing in the doorway horrified at his outburst.
Dawson just sits down on the steps and looks at the jacuzzi. Chris and Jen aren't in there any more and the geustroom light is out.
Joey knocks on Dina's door and asks if she can talk to her. Dina tells Joey that Dawson is really mean and she says that all boys are. She also tells her that growing up is pretty crappy but there are times where everything is perfect and that everything is perfect and those are the times that make it worth it.
Dawson sits down to study and there is a timelapse and he wakes up and its the next day. He walks into the next room and wakes up Pacey, Andie and Joey. Andie starts freaking out because noone is prepared for the test.
Chris and Jen wake up together and he thanx her for a very fun night. He tells her that everyone has woken up and that he is going downstairs but Jen says to hold on and she'll get dressed and come down too.
Pacey takes control and tells them that they are going to cram Andies study plan into 3 hours they start asking each other questions and begin making breakfast. They start fighting about who wrote Wuthering Heights. The camera cuts back and forth between different times when they are studying. At the end Pacey takes them for one last study preperation and they all jump into the pool. After they get out Andie tries to talk to Pacey and she says that she understands why he didn't tell her. After that they get into another friendly fight and then kiss.
Dawson walks up to Joey who is drying her clothes. Dawson tells her not to say anything because whenever they speak together they muck it up. Dawson then tells her that he wants to take back the first kiss that they had so that they could still be best friends but when he thinks about all the stuff that the kiss bought he dosn't regret it. Joey then says that both times she fell in love it was with him and that she still feels the same way for him but shes not sure of herself. Dawson says that he still feels the same way too but he is going to give her all the space that she needs.
The whole group get into the car and drive to school when they arrive they at teh classroom they see a note telling them that Mr peterson is still sick and that the test it rescheduled. Pacey then leads them all out onto the football field for one last group activity where they all fall promptly asleep.
