Gibraltar is a British Territory on the southern coast of Spain. It was only about an hour's drive from Benalmedena. By this time we were in for a peaceful drive and a slow day.

I think this may have been the only outing that we went on where we didn't get REALLY lost!

We learned early on in the trip that it is not a problem finding a parking space, it is figuring out how to pay for it. In Spain you pay in advance. You have to find the machine that covers that space and get the slip.

In the US you always pay when you go out... That is what we did at the airport when we went to check on our flight reservations... you end up sitting at the gate and it won't let you out... You can't back up as there is already someone behind you... We ended up being waved around and Edward had to go pay for the parking while I circled the lot. From then on we were able to figure out the paying areas prior to leaving.

It dropped us off at the main square. Where there are all sorts of vendors. The copper guy moves.

The main shopping areas were decorated for christmas. While there were a wide number of shops, after about two blocks they all seem to be the same stuff; Jewelry & watches; Linens; t-shirts.

Everything was priced in pounds so there was a bit more difficult translation than the Euro.

The Big Chicken has nothing on Gibraltar,

The Big Orange was a Cyber Cafe.

We left Gibraltar and went back to Benalmedena
