After many unfortunate unavoidable delays, STCCGDB is finally here! Please note that this is a Beta version. There may be some bugs in it, but precautions have been taken to always protect your data. ---------------------------------------------------- STCCGdb allows you to maintain an accurate inventory count of your cards. Look over the screenshots below, and make sure you check out the requirements below before downloading and trying it out. By the way, this program is FREE and will remain free. Also, please note that since this is a beta, the database included with the program contains cards up through the First Contact set. Any cards after that will have to be entered by you. Pictured above is the main screen of the program. It contains a listing of all the cards listed in the database. The data displayed and the look of the grid is able to be completely customized by you. This is the card data entry screen. Here is where you enter in all information pertinent to the card. The data you can enter gets pretty detailed, and will be used in upcoming features for the program. A pop-up taskbar at the bottom of the screen helps clear up screen space so that the form isn't so cluttered. Also, any data that goes beyond the control it is in will show up automatically in a tooltip. Here is where you enter in information for each card set. This is the quick inventory screen. This screen is set up so that you can quickly update the inventory of your cards with as few keystrokes as possible. Any data that you can enter on the card entry screen that is in a combo box is added and edited here. Skills, classification, rarity, it's all done here. Select the menu option of the data you wish to make changes or additions to, and this screen will come up with the proper information. If the data goes beyond the screen, simply point the mouse cursor over the item and the data will show up in a tooltip. You can produce reports based on the data you have entered into the program. These reports can then be printed and used as a reference by you. Currently there are two reports, a complete inventory report listing all the cards entered and how many you own of each, and a cards needed report, which displays the cards that you do not yet own and need to collect to complete your set. As stated earlier, the card listing can be customized. Here, on this screen, you can choose what fields you want to display and in what order. This can be changed at any time. Here you can set the default widths of each of the fields to be displayed in the card listing. When you go to the card entry screen, at the upper left corner the set picture is displayed. Here is where you can set what picture is displayed for each card. Several set pictures are included with this program, or you can make your own with the dimensions stated in the help file. As new sets come out, set picture collections will be able to be found on this page. Also, feel free to email us your custom set pics and we'll put them on this page. DOWNLOAD Before you download the program, please be sure to read the following requirements! Certain items have not been included with the program to make the install smaller. By doing this, I have cut the size by over half! Please make sure you have the following on your computer or use the provided links to obtain them. 1. Microsoft ADO 2.1 or better. I tried not to make this a requirement, but the reports that are created by STCCGdb require this. This is a 6mb download if you don't have it. To see if you do have it, download this 4k file and run it. (Make sure you have the Visual Basic runtime listed below installed before running this!!!) If you do have ADO, the program will run successfully and simply display a message stating that you have ADO installed, otherwise you will see an error message. 2. Visual Basic 6 runtimes These are required for you to run this program. This is about a 1mb download, if you don't already have the Visual Basic 6 runtimes on your machine. Make sure the above are installed on your machine before running this program, otherwise you will get errors! Well, this program combined with the included database will allow you to update your card database either by set or by individual card. As always, be sure to back up your current database in case anything goes wrong. The program should be self-explanatory, but be sure to email me if you have any questions. dbupdater.zip - 209kb STCCGdbCleaner This program cleans up the database relating to a bug in STCCGdb.exe version .9.222 and earlier. When a card was deleted, it was not completely deleted from the database and an error occured if a card with the same name was entered again. This goes through the database and cleans up those deleted fragments. To be safe, be sure to make a backup copy of the IE_STCCG.mdb file in the program directory. Any questions, feel free to email.
