5. Earning Elements

**NOTE** There is a screen (press start and left one), and in the middle of this screen is a blue orb. And when the blue orb reaches the top you earn a spirit element. OK! Now here's my thought on it. Since you earn them by defeating enemies (same w/ attacking, magic, defence, agility) they are probably interlinked somewhat.?. Maybe, maybe not, but this page is going. - Skaarak
- I really didn't keep that good a track of my stuff anyways.

10. Unanswered Questions

  1. Do you know where the well is in and how do you open the door underneath the inn?

ANSWER: Once you find the Earth Orb and the Wind Jade, go to the upstairs of the Inn and talk to the water princess. She will unlock the door underneath the Inn. The well is in that room. She will meet you at the well and lower the water level outside the inn, which opens up whole new path to travel. This is where you need to go to get the other two crystals. GOOD LUCK! - From Ben
To open the door below the inn in Larapool, you have to go to Cull Hazard then to Normoon. Then go to Windward Forest. At the end of the path, Zelse is here. Fight Zelse then go to the bridge and to Larapool. Go into the inn and talk to Leila. Then go in the door below the inn. - From William
  2. If anyone has any tips on beating Nepty I would appreciate for you to post them here!

ANSWER:To beat Nepty, try to learn Healing Go up to her and beat her with staff or staff level 2. Whenever you get low, back up and heal. - From Alice
This blue-robed woman dwells at the bottom of the sea. Before going into battle with her, your magic levels should be around 18. When defeated, Nepty will surrender the Water Jewel, without which you cannot proceed in the game. There are two basic approaches to fighting Nepty. If you have many Morning Dews to replenish your Magic Points, keep your distance and range-attack her with Fire spells. If you have plenty of Bread, get in close and pummel her with your staff. Nepty has about 910 Hit Points. - From Ben
To beat Nepty stay away from her and use fire bomb. You must have Items Like bread and mint leaves. - From Jpeters To beat Nepty beat up guys on the island until you get honey bread. Then go up and pummel her with your staff when power staff is active. Heal yourself when HP is low. You should just make it out of this, it may take a few tries. --Person Man
  3. There is a wierd wood door in the Monastary. When you go into the room with the treasure chest and two monks. There is another door to a room with a few treasure chests, and the wooden large door. Does anyone know what it is?
      ANSWER:
    • This door has no purpose and from everything I've heard and read cannot be opened so don't worry to much about it. - From Victoria
    • It probably leeds to the crypt where the Eletale book was stored before it was stolen, but thats only a guess - Keith
  4. I am at Mammon with 4 healing potions, a couple mint leaves , some dew drops and all my spells around 30 or so. What should I do?
ANSWER:Be prepared for a long seige. I used Wind Cutter 3 and kept my distance. You can dodge the bright orange spell he throws by moving quickly all the way left or right. You can't dodge the wavey spell. You can dodge some of his arrow like spell if you keep moving. If you go up to the far end of the platform you can attack with your staff and then you can use your MP to heal. Good luck. -From GSMOM50
To beat mammon with those items .. u have try to dodge mammons attacks .. if possible.. Keep healing if your hp is at least 120-150.AVALANCH is the best way to beat him.. - eggy
This is absolutely the easiest boss in the entire game considering that he is the last boss. Before you face Mammon you are on a walkway going up towards him. The platform hooks to the right and goes to the top. You would normally have to fight him at this point and work your way up. You don't have to face him until you reach the top if you just stick to the very right of the walkway/platform. From there you just face him at the top. Just use avalanche/healing stuff and he's done for.- From RenAlm
all ya have to do is use magic barrier than club him than magic barrier etc. it only took me one of those silver light things - IggerBob
  5. Where do I find the fire pearl?
      ANSWER:
    • To find the Fire Pearl you have to beat Fargo. He's really easy if you havehealing level 2. YOu MUST have healing level 2. That is the key for beating Fargo. You can use staff 2 and wack him and then heal. You get the Fire Ruby after you beat him
    • If you are referring to the FIRE RUBY, it is obtained by Beating FARGO, the fire mage, who is found in the Boil Hole near the Dindom Dries..- Junker Z
    • the fire pearl is in the far cave to the left in the desert - Gooberwalt
  6. I have a question. after you beat mammon, where's Lord Bartholomy? What's the key for? please put the answers on you site. thanks! - Amy
      ANSWER:
    • Bartholomy is that guy in the castle on catlen that is on the floor Bartholomy is also known as bart. The key well I have no idea but after you beat mammon you have to talk to that girl and that is it. - Alex
    • Lord Batholomy is with Shannon. - Sultan
    • for some reason .. lord bartholomy never showed ... though some 'secret' may let you find him (it may exist or not :(~ )... and the key is for going to fight mammon .. i think if you get the key and die .. if you didnt talk to epona and save then youll go back to the last hotel ... and if you go back to the world of mammon .. you might just skip right to him (or not) - Alan
    • Lord Bartholomuel is on the fround in front of shannon inside the castle. The key is for releasijng Mammon. - Bowman
    • I don't know the first part of your question, but think the key is used just to get to Mammon, like the book was used to proceed further in the game without even using it, I too have beaten the game. - Less
    • Lord Bartholomy is before you beat mammon. Do you remember the guy that Shannon defeated in the final castle? that's him. The key Shannon gives you unlocks Mammon's "cage". You can't continue on to Mammon until you have it. - Mark
  7. could you please help me on how to get through Cull Hazard, I keep getting lost and going around in circles. Thank you. - William
      ANSWER:
    • good question ... well every time you win a battle .. brian jumps and turns to the direction in which you were heading ... every time you flee you may get lost ... always remember which way you were facing when you started battle - Alan
    • To get out of cull hazard the best thing to do is get a healing spell and proceed through the cave keeping the wall to your left. Eventually you will reach a lake with a treasure chest on it's shore. continue always keeping the lake to your left. after the lake shore ends, continue straight and you will see a second lake- follow it's shore to the right and you will enter a cavern and then a vine infested cave-there is only one way to go from here. - HNDRX
  8. Iīm with Guilty, and I donīt have any heroes drink, I only have a honey bread. How can I kill him?. What spell did you recomend me?
      ANSWER:
    • What you should do is build up your Earth level to atleast 36, enough to get the spell Magic Barrier. Magic Barrier is a spell that shields you from all magic damage being done to you. My advice is to cast M Barrier, Attack, Recast, Attack, Recast, Attack and so on until you beat him. You can also use that method with King Beigis and Mammon. - Pat
    • The easiest way to beat the bosses is to use magic barrier, then whack them to death. The barrier will last for about 3 rounds of you hitting him, then he'll be able to get one hit on you when it runs out. Recharge it and do it again. You should only have to use that one hero's drink and be able to beat any boss - including Mammon! -Brad
    • to get heroes drinks and honey bread ... use your wings and go to previous towns ... some stores give you supplies :)~ ... i killed him by using level 2 staff and level 2 heal ... he doesnt hit as hard when your standing right next to him (i think .. may be beigis) - Alan
    • Basically, use avalanche and magic barrier on everyone and everything, including Guilty. If you have magic barrier, you won't even need healing items. If you don't have magic barrier, well... - Jamie
    • .....Just keep your distance, and use healing level 2.When you get your HP high (around 200-300) Get in close and pummel him with your staff. When your HP gets around 65-70,back up and heal.Repeat these steps and you'll have him beat in no time.Note:Try to get magic barrier for King Biegis and mammon. - Bruce
    • The best way to beat guilty that way is to go to all of the towns you have gone to before and get bread and things from the people who give it to you. Then fight guilty over and over first without using any of your items. Build up yourself. It will take a while to defeat guilty but don't give up. Everyone else after him is very easy to defeat-Ty
  9. Where do I go after I kill nepty?
      ANSWER:
    • After defeating Nepty, go back into the only house on the island with that goddess and the pirate. There is another room you can go into. In it, you will find a huge circular stone on the center of the floor and all you need to do is step in the middle of that stone and it will teleport you back to Epona's house. -Gerald
    • after you beat nepty go to the place where you appeared in the underwater barrier and stand in the middle of the ring of things and you will go to the top of the mountain, then go to the house, go through the other door, stand on the stone circle, go out of the house, and right before the path going back to the blue cave there is a circle of (stones?) and stand in the middle of them. - Douglas
    • Go back into the "Socress's" House and walk into the second room. Walk over the stone circle. You should be in Crystal Valley, where Epona Lives and the end of Blue Cave. Walk out of thier house. If you need too, go back in and rest/save by talking to the other monster guy. Search around for Hidden Elements, there are a lot of them here. Then walk into one of the circles of stones in Crystal Valley. You should be back in Larapool. Go back to the original ferry that brought you to This Area. The Wind and the Sea should subside, so the ferry should be back in business.
There are Three areas where you can go now. Limeland (Which is where you go next in the game), Larapool, and Dondoran Flats. Keep in mind that If you want to go back to Blue Cave, There's another way in besides the Inn route in Larapool. Go to Glencoe Forest, by a secret way of a log ramp when you're near it. Proceed along the lake to find many elements, and eventually another lake and a cabin. From there, it's another pond where the rocks are that lead to the Blue Cave.
Ride to Limeland, and then Talk to the old man in the cabin next to the dock. Save/rest, then proceed to Limeland Castle.Hope this helped. -Sirar
