My '77 Volkswagen Bus
(Westfalia Campmobile)
It used to be a very icky avocado green with brown
stripes.
I took care of that! It's a camper with a pop-up top and a sink,
stove, and refrigerator inside. It has water and electric hook-ups and
sleeps four.

After the restoration/customization it's now a
beautiful metallic violet with a silver pearl top. |
It really turns heads. |

Everyone enjoys riding in it. |

Here's a few bad shots of the interior. I
discovered that you need an overcast day to take good car interior
pictures. |
The whole interior was re-done in black and gray.
Much better than avocado green and brown. |

Here's the original engine. You can see the old
green color inside the engine compartment. |
The engine has been swapped with a slightly souped-up
1.8 liter water-cooled engine from a VW passat. I also put in a
new transmission and several new gauges. It now has around 120 hp
and is so much more reliable. This picture shows the bus after the
original engine was removed. |
