BLACKARACHNIA  After returning to Cybertron from prehistoric Earth after the Beast Wars, Blackarachnia was forced to retreat deep underground into Cybertron's subterranean levels in order to avoid the Vehicons. To make things worst, she was also infected with the virus that had allowed Megatron to conquer Cybertron. Cheetor, Rattrap, Blackarachnia and Optimus Primal were saved by the Oracle who reformatted them with techno-organic bodies. Blackarachnia was the third Maximal to master the art of techno-organic transformation. Blackarachnia has a burning desire to reunite herself with her one true love - Silverbolt. At one stage, Blackarachnia suspected that Silverbolt's Spark had been recycled into the Vehicon general, Thrust. For a while, she bonded with Thrust, almost awakening his true nature, but ultimately failed. She later discovered that Silverbolt's Spark did not lie in Thrust, but within the Aerodrone general, Jetstorm. Despite Jetstorm's denial of his former self, Blackarachnia was able to change him back into his Maximal self. Abilities: In beast mode, Blackarachnia is able to attach herself to any surface, no matter how sheer. Like all Maximals, her beast mode also hides her from Vehicon sensors. She can also spin webs which she can use to rappel or to swing from one point to another quickly. In robot mode, she can also use her webbing to make special shuriken. She can also generate electricity along the ground, electrocuting anyone within relatively close distance. Coupled with her new found speed, her martial arts skills have become more efficient than ever, making her a deadly unarmed fighter. Weaknesses: Her affection for Silverbolt often found her taking great risks and endangering herself. At one stage, her Spark was momentarily separated from her body and she had a near-death experience when she joined the Matrix during this time. |
