Medical Assistant

Aim: The Medical Assistant Course is designed to produce a cadet who is capable of assisting under the direct supervision of qualified Canadian Forces Medical Assistant in a Sick Bay or Hospital at a Summer Training Centre, as well as carrying out the duties of a First Aid Attendant

Length: 6 weeks

Prerequisites:

• completed Phase IV from LHQ Training
• completed any Trade Group II Course
• recommended by his/her Commanding Officer
• have your parent/guardian’s permission
