Shipwright

Aim: The Shipwright Course is designed to prepare cadets for a role as a member of a Boatshed, either at a Summer Training Centre or at the Corps. The cadet will be able to maintain and make minor repairs to the hulls, spars, sails and rigging of small boats.

Length: 6 weeks

Prerequisites:

• completed Phase IV from LHQ Training
• completed any Trade Group II Course
• recommended by his/her Commanding Officer
• have your parent/guardian’s permission

Qualifications:

• Cadet Shipwright Qualification
• St John’s Standard First Aid
