Marvel Interactive Event

"How To Be a Superhero" Quakerbridge Mall, Trenton , NJ
July  24, 1999

Go to Marvel's website and click on their second side gutter link "Hero something" to find out about future character appearances across the US in 2000.

The Marvel Interactive Event at Quakerbridge was the most expansive "How to Be a Superhero" program character-wise across the US in 1999. Included were Spider-Man, Spider-Girl, Wolverine, and Captain America. All participated in an interactive literacy and exciting fight scene extravaganza.

I got to meet the (then?) manager of Marvel Entertainment Group's Character Appearance Prgoram. Talked a little about job opportunities, got the business card, and also spoke with some of the support staff as to logisitics and program content. It all worked out quite well, as could easily work as a foundation for other interactive and (more exciting) basic promotional character appearances. Ideally, one day this would be my job.
