Spiderman also "dropped by" the Cecil County Library as a climax to the "I Love to Read" month festivities. Spidey even brought along some DC associates--Batman and Robin to join in the campaign.
The started out with the reading of a Spidey adventure to the room of over 200 kids and parents. Next everyone learned the Spiderman theme song. As the crowd listened to the live musician, the man of the hour--Spiderman--made his entrance and shook hands, waved, and demonstrated some power kicks and punches.
Following a "leap" session, Spidey announced the arrival of Batman and Robin. Soon all three were literally inundated with questions, kids and requests for autographs.
Cards, coloring sheets, and little spiders were handed out to the lively audience members.
Prior to the end of the two hour appearance, Spidey was advised that the Green Goblin had set up an auxiliary post in the area and that all should be on the look-out. I guess the Goblin will be seen within the next few weeks?
