Mackenzie grins at her at Eia then at Genevieve and takes a seat. "Hey, Eia! Come sit beside me!" she calls to her friend happily.

Kellamari smiles from her seat, "Hi! I'm Kella!" She calls it out to everyone, turning her head to show off the green ribbon that matches her dress perfectly.

Eirian looks around the area, and at the other kids. "Um, excuse me, ma'am. What are dragonrings?" she asks softly as she waves towards Kenzie.

"Hi!" she calls, looking over towards Kellamari, "I'm Anji." she introduces, proud as ever, the child not shy. She wanders over and looks over towards Cassidy. "HI Cassi."

Genevieve nods, "Okay, everyone who wants to play, get in a line near the game, please. That way I know what order y'all'll play in, okay?" She walks towards the game, ready to hand the rings out.

Mackenzie hops out of her, nodding to Kella. "Sure!" She peers at Eia. "Wanna play?"

Merenya looks down at Shaney and smiles. "I don't know, sweets, let's go ask." She leads the small boy over to the girl who looks to be in charge (Genevieve). "Pardon me..."

Genevieve nods, "Yes?" She pauses in her organization of the 'drudges' "May I help you?"

Merenya nods to Shaney. "Go ahead and ask."

Shaney looks up at the older girl. "Dids I miss the dinter?" he asks. "I hurrieds as fast as I coulds."

Deneb blinks in from ::between::!

Genevieve shakes her head, "No, we're only just now sitting down to eat." She turns to the drudge at her side, "Will you take this young man to a good seat, Aurie?" She watches as the drudge walks towards a seat near the foods. Merenya smiles, releasing Shaney's hand so he can go eat. She moves off to make herself comfortable while keeping a watchful eye on the child.

Kellamari swings her legs, grinning at Shaney, "Will you sit next to me? You can pet my new kitty. My name's Kella."

Eirian wanders back over to the table holding Tuber gently, clearly ill at ease with the other children.

Cassidy starts to let Daro go but he gets to it first leaping out of Cassidy's arms and landing on all four feet.

Vima says, "Can I have Pearl back?"

Kelmenir says, "When your done eating"

Cassidy goes and sits by Anj.

Shaney grins at Kellamari and sits down. "Otay. My name's Saney. Dat's my cousin, Renna," pointing at the girl who brought him, "But see's nots a kid. See's a pennice."

Kellamari nods, "Okay." She stops swinging her feet, wondering when they will start serving.

Deneb flies high at first, getting a good look at everyone, before winging down and past Eirian towards the lake.

Anji nearly runs for the table in her excitement, sitting next to Cassidy, her canine next to her.

Genevieve looks at those seated, "Everyone ready to eat? First things is little meatrolls and fruits." She holds up a plate so everyone can see, motiong the drudges to start placing them in front of the children.

Cassidy looks over at Anj "I got a kitty."

Tiny meatrolls cover this plate in a double spiral pattern. Lying between the two rows are fresh slices of fruit- kiwi, citron, grapes, bananas, and redfruit. The tray is encircled by blue and raspberries, their rich colors a contrast to the brighter shades of the fruit inside the spiral.

Anji nods as she giggles, looking at Cassidy. "She's nice, I've got a puppy." She watches as the drudges bring in the platters, nearly bouncing in her seat.

Kellamari looks down at her plate, "This looks neat!" she exclaims, picking pieces of meatroll off it carefully. Turning to her neighbor, she says, "You gonna eat some?"

The drudges stand behind the children, one for every two kids, to help them get what they want and ready to clear plates for new courses.

Shaney oohs in appreciation of the pretty arrangement, then licks his lips, bouncing like a rubber ball. Turning to Kella he asks, "Coulds you give me some please? Momma says I souldn'ts tuts the food."

Cassidy starts eating the meatrolls , mmm her favorite.

Kellamari nods, 'What do you want? Fruit or meatroll?"

Vima eats her meatroolls and she reaches for some fruit "Why doesn't she want you touvching the food?

Shaney clasps his hands. "Oh boths!" Then in reply to Vima, "Momma says I can serve my own self whens I'm older. If I'm good, though, see lets me feeds Dan-sah."

Eirian carefully takes a couple of meatrolls and some of the fruit, setting it on her place before she commences eating. She listens to the conversation around her and starts on her food silently.

Vima says, "Mine says that about me going into the tavern not until I'm older but if they are haveing a storytelling then its ok"

Kellamari gets some fruit and meatroll on a spoon and gives it to Shaney, "There's both!" At the same time, she feeds herself, clearing the palte quickly.

Anji goes strictly for the fruit and bouncing a bit, begins to enjoy eating her favorite food.

Genevieve watches the children eat, preparing the cheese covered fruit for the next course. She send drudges around, to see if they're thirsty. There's all sorts of fruit juices and water.

Shaney, carefully copying the other kids, takes his spoon and scoops up some fruit, managing to get it to his mouth without dropping it in his lap. Beaming with his success, he carefully sets the spoon down, trading it for his fork, with which he cuts off a bit of meatroll and stabs it.

Vima says, "I'll have jucie"

Cassidy asks Anji "What is yer favorite fruit?"

The drudge nods, bringing redfruit juice to Vima and the others, since none actually specified what kind of juice.

Kellamari sips the juice, looking around to see what will be coming next.

Anji shrugs as she gives Cass a grin "I just like fruit, most any kind." she says as she continues to eat. "Redfruit for me." she says, bouncing in her chair. "You want some Cassi?" she asks with a little giggle.

Vima sips her jucie then eats her meat rolls. "I'm going to be at the Ista gahter

Cassidy says "I like raspberrys personally."

Shaney twists around in his seat to catch a drudge. "Coulds I have some dooce, please?"

The next plate is held up so they can see what's next in the four course meal. Gen grins, "When y'all're done, you're going to get some fruits and veggies covered with cheese to make them taste better." (The plate is covered by various fruit and vegetables, each type in its own little compartment and covered by a thin layer of melted cheese. The center of it is dedicated to fingerroots, the veggies small and round. The row around them is for grapes, tuber-skins, and redfruit slices. The last row contains celery stalks and tiny ears of corn.)

Shaney wrinkles his nose and whispers to Kella, "I don'ts like vechables."

The drudges scurry about, pouring juice for everyone, and clearin gplates from those who are finished and placing the cheesy plates in front of them.

Vima smiles "I love cheese

Kellamari nods, "I like fingerroots, though, and they taste even better covered with cheese." She picks one up, munching on it. "See?" she says with mouth full, "They're real good!"

Cassidy starts eating her tuber skins.

Shaney giggles and peruses the plate. "I likes teese... coulds you give me some of everting?"

Kellamari nods and scoops some of everything onto a spoon, "Here ya go! And try the tuber skins. They's good, too."

Cassidy says "Tuber skins in cheese is good."

Genevieve pulls out the plates of wherry strips, ready for when the veggies and fruit is gone.

Shaney immediately spears a tuber skin with his fork, only getting a tiny smear of cheese on his face. He looks around and, finding his napkin, dutifully smears it around a little more.

Vima covers her tuvtuber skin with cheese so much that some drips of and gets on her dress

Kellamari picks up some grapes with her fingers, stuffing them into her mouth, "Mm! These is good, too.!" In no time at all, this plate, too, is empty and she's looking for more to eat.

Siti walks in from the Hold Field.

Vima takes her hand that is covered with cheese and begins to wipe off the spot on her dress make a bigger cheesey mess

Genevieve smiles at Siti, "Hello! Why don't you take a seat at the table, and the drudges will get you the fruits and veggies? Then you can be on the same course as the rest of us."

Anji grins and takes one for herself, spreading the cheese on it and beginning to eat, only passing a tidbit or two to her new pet.

Kelmenir says, "Vima your makeing the mess worse use your napkin"

Kellamari sips her juice, still looking for the next set of food.

Siti nods quickly at Genevieve, shyly slipping into an empty seat, she waits for the drudge to come and grins. Fun! Food! What more could a child want!

The drudge brings the cheesy fruit and veggies to Siti, and then some wherry strips to Kella, since she's sitting without anything in front of her.

Vima giggles at gets her napkin and wipes up her mess

Eirian sits quietly, watching the other kids as well as the drudges and the adults while she finishes what she's had on her plate...

The drudge brings another plate of wherry to Eirian, taking away the empty one.

Vima finiesh her tubers o chesse and syas "Can I have some wherry strips?"

Shaney looks at Kella's wherry strips and back at his own cheesy plate. "Hey, teese is goods on wherry too," he points out.

Nodding, Gen takes a tray of the plates herself and begins serving them. Each of the plates on this tray is filled with wild rivergrains, the pale yellow color a soft contrast to the darker plates. Wherry rests in a starburst pattern on the grains, the five fried and spiced strips alternating in the pattern. A small container of sweet sauce is in the center of it all, one for each plate, either for dipping the wherry in or pouring on the rice.

Siti giggles as she gets the food, "Yum!" she says, taking a bite, she licks her lips, "Yummy!" is said again as she eats more, getting her hands positivley covered in it...

Kellamari dips her wherry in the sauce, eating them quickly. Finishing the wherry, she pours the rest of the sauce over the rice and shovels it into her mouth with her fork.

Anji bounces in her seat, as she continues to work on her food, face beaming at the other children now and again.

Shaney pauses mid bite to watch Kella. "You eats fast!" he exclaims in wonder.

Kellamari nods, "if I didn't, I might not get to eat. And it's good! You should try it."

Vima takes a bite of her wherry strip then sets it back down "I'm full."

Siti looks about her slowly, then, speaking up a little, she announces, "I'm Siti..." introduction said, she starts eating once again.

Cassidy looks at Vima "Really , I'm not."

Genevieve frowns, "You don't have room for dessert?" She asks Vima quietly, "We have pie and something new, called ambrosia."

Shaney does indeed 'try it', quickly shoveling some grains and cheese and wherry into his mouth.

Kellamari grins down the table at Siti, "I'm Kella" she calls, sipping at her juice.

Cassidy asks Genevieve "Whats Ambrosia?"

Genevieve grins, "You'll have to see."

Shaney leans forward to see Siti. "And I'se Saney!"

Vima says, "Oh I'm not to full for desser. I'm Vima. I'll have some Ambrosia"

Siti giggles, "Hi Kella!" she turns to Shaney, "Hi Shaney," another giggle is given, "Hi Vima," wow, lotsa names, and more words in one scentance then usually said for Siti.

Cassidy says "Me to."

Genevieve nods, "Okay Vima." She takes the big bowl around, scooping some into Vima's smaller bowl. "enjoy!"

Vima trys the ambrosa "iTS GOOD

The bowl is carried towards Cassidy, where Genevieve scoops the concoction into her little bowl, too. "There ya go!"

Cassidy says "Thank you."

Kellamari scrunches her nose at the ambrosia, "I want some pie! That looks nasty. And you bakers made me taste it afore. I don't like it."

Siti waves, "I want some!" she says, licking cheese covered fingers.

Genevieve nods, telling a drudge to get Kella a slice of the redfruit pie while she scoops some into Siti's bowl. "Does anyone else want some?"

Shaney raises his hand too, bouncing in his seat. "Oh, me me!"

Anji bounces in her chair as she asks for some of the Ambrosia as well.

Genevieve scoops some into Shaney's bowl, then walks back down the table to put some into Anji's bowl.

Siti giggles and looks at it, "Draggiesnot!" she shouts, scooping some into her mouth. She almost bounces like the others as she eats.

Kellamari cuts into her pie with her fork, eating the savory piece slowly.

Cassidy tastes it "mmmm,Yer right it is good Vima."

Vima says, "Hey theres this girl at Keroon who made up at song about Draggie snot her name is Teona"

Genevieve nods, "Really? I bet it's a good song." She looks down at the bowl, sadly empty now.

Cassidy eats hers quickly . "Canni have some pie now?"

Vima says, "Ya it is if she's at the gather at Ista ask her to sing it"

Eirian gives a little grin as she hears the word Draggiesnot, actually having seen some of it once. Sobering she continues on her food, finishing neatly, watching the other children as well.

Siti giggles and eats her 'draggiesnot'. Bouncing in her chair, "Yes, can we hava some pie?"

Genevieve nods, pointing to a drudge. Apparently, he's to hand it out, which he does.

Shaney has finished his ambrosia and eagerly watches the drudge proceed up the table, doling out pie.

Kellamari finsihes her pie, looking up at the drudge for another piece.

Vima eats the last bit of ambrosia.

Siti gets her pie and starts to eat, though not with a fork, she uses her hands, getting the pie filling all over her hands and face...

Cassidy recieves her pie and eagerly starts eating it.

Genevieve grins, "That's all there is today! Go ahead and finish eating, but when you're done, if you want to, you can play another game of dragonrings."

Cassidy looks up "I wanna play again."

Shaney puts his fork down. "I'se done eatin', I wants to play!"

Genevieve nods, "Well, when all y'all are done with your dessert, go ahead and start a game. I'll clean up with the drudges."

Cassidy finishes her pie and calls out "I'm done."

Mackenzie wanders in from the Hold Field.

Vima hops ovoff her seat and runs over.

Kellamari stands, grinning at Shaney, "Then come on! I'm done too. I'll race ya to it!" She takes off running, leaving her kitten behind on her seat.

Cassidy runs over with Vima.

Kelmenir says, "We have to be getting to Ista"

Vima says, "Awww"

Kelmenir takes Vima by the hand

Vima says, "Bye all"

Vima says, "Thanks"

Kelmenir picks up Vima.

Genevieve waves, "Good-bye Vima. And you're welcome."

Kelmenir walks out.

Cassidy wipes the scoreboard clean with a rag.

Shaney jumps off his seat, running after Kella, but his legs are a lot shorter than hers and he doesn't even begin to keep up, arriving strides behind her.

Kellamari goes home.

Genevieve and the drudges begin clearing off the table, placing al the dirty dishes in basket brought specially for that purpose.

Eirian wanders over to Genevieve and says softly "You served a very nice dinner. It was very gracious of you to invite all the children."

Cassidy calls out to Genevive "Thanks."

Genevieve nods, "Well, I didn't think many of you got to go to parties or whatever often, so I thought I'd do one specially for y'all."

Mackenzie goes home.

Genevieve grins, "Welcome!" she calls back.

Shaney grins. "I likes parties!"

Cassidy goes home.

Shaney pads quietly to the Gar Gardens.

Eirian nods and gives Genevieve a soft smile "Well, it was a wonderful gesture and very nicely put together as well." she says quietly. "Thank-you."

Genevieve nods, "You're very welcome."
