1/04 The DVD of Peter's 'Growing Up Tour' has been released. It is taken from a concert he performed in Italy. Even though I saw him in concert, the DVD is still fun to watch because of the editing. But too many shots of the technicians. Didn't pay $20 to see bejumpsuited strangers stare at Peter Gabriel for two hours. 10/02 Mr. Gabriel has now released is new album "Up". Only came three years late and 10 years after his last. Peter has also begun his Growing Up tour. Tickets are still available at www.petergabriel.com. If you don't mind spending up to $130 a ticket then you're golden. However many fans have been disenfranchised by the alleged fleecing. How do you feel? You can read fan opinions and give your own by clicking on the above link. Prior to UP, his last soundtrack was for the movie, "Rabbit Proof Fence" in early 2002. 8/02 Just released is a Remastered version of all Peter Gabriel's albums - from "Peter Gabriel" to "Us." This was probably done to remind his fans that he still exists in preparation for "Up." Previously: Out now is Ovo. It's a collection of new music that collectively tells a multi-generational story. If you live in London you could see Ovo:The Millenium Show, but you probably don't and if you do, I don't want to hear about it. You can buy it now at www.petergabriel.com. In the recent past he has worked on a computer interactive game called Eve. He has also done singles for such movies as Natural Born Killers, Strange Days, Virtuosity and Babe: Pig in the City, in which he sang and was nominated for best song. My suggestion: Peter dear, release all those singles onto one album maybe along with some B-sides and unreleased materials. (I've heard a new remake of I Have the Touch, awesome.)
