A Campaign to conquer the world before the semester is over!!!
In a grim world of perilous adventure where ancient dragons darken the sky and the hordes of chaos scour the land you must take charge of your fate. It is your manifest destiny to gain control in these troubled times and mold the world into its proper form.
Choose your army:
- Bretonnia - Noble knights, chivalry, a land protected by the lady of the lake.
- Empire - Largest and most powerful land of humans. The Emperor can call upon engineers for an advantage in battle -- cannons, tanks, war waggons, and rows of soldiers armed with guns rather than bows.
- Lizardmen - Cold blooded, possesses the greatest magic, and the most ancient of all the armies.
- Orcs and Goblins - Aggressive, strong, and bloodthirsty. Orcs and goblins are numerous, and can live in harsh conditions where most humans cannot.
- High Elves - Second only to the lizardmen army in magic. Highly skilled warriors who live hundreds of years and have mastered the martial arts.
- Dark Elves - Witches, dark magic, assassins, and a hatred so strong they will fight to the death against the high elves.
- Dwarfs - Masters at engineering and creating magical weapons. Dwarfs are tough, stubborn, and never forget a grudge.
- Chaos - From the world of shadow and magic comes the greatest threat to mortal kind. Chaos can create horrible mutations that make the champions of this army into juggernauts lead by even more powerful demons.
- Wood Elves - Defenders of nature, masters of the forest and all of its might. The wood elves have powerful dryads, forest dragons, and treemen to help them.
- Undead - skeletons, zombies, vampires, liches. How can you kill that which is already dead?
- Chaos Dwarfs - twisted by the magic of chaos into a powerhungry dwarven army set on enslaving the world
- Skaven - assassins, corrupting magic, powerful warmachines, and a society that purges itself of the weak. The skaven desire nothing less than the fall of all civilization so they can enslave and control everything.
Guidelines
For those of you familiar with Warhammer here is the overall structure for this campaign
- This is low dough warhammer, which means you can play with proxy pieces to represent your army (you could even play with cardboard cutouts).
- All magic items are allowed. However, you may only start with magic items of 50pts or less. Anything more powerful must be earned by conquering territories
- All special characters are allowed (magic items they possess may be restricted to 50pts or substituted with a magic item of lesser value and exchanged the difference in points)
- Effects carry over from previous battles. Special characters that are wounded in previous battles will need to heal. For every battle fought in a special characters absence they heal 2 wounds. For every battle a special character participates in and survives they may heal 1 wound.
- Special characters cannot be killed. Instead they need time to recover. If a special character is "killed" then it is treated as if the character has an additional wound to recover and cannot fight again until they have regained 50% of their wounds.
- Permenant effects last d3 battles instead of forever.
- Allies are allowed. You may gain allies by negotiating with another player or gaining access to allies by controlling the correct territory.
